5.0 out of 5 stars Mojo Confirmation of June release, 29 Mar 2008
A Legacy Edition will be released to coincide with the 30th anniversary of this wonderful albums original release including bonus tracks plus a second disc consisting of the second album Bambu which like his brother Brian's Smile was shelved. One of the most anticipated re-releases of recent times, this is the version you will need. Absolutely essential.

5.0 out of 5 stars The only Rod Stewart album you need., 23 Feb 2007
Rolling Stone magazine called Rod the biggest waste of talent in Rock 'n' Roll and from this collection you can see why. If he continued on this passage he may be spoken of in the same sense as the true greats like Dylan, Van the Man and Bowie. But it wasn't to be.

This collection is almighty collecting albums of the highest calibre together, especially the first four. The star of the show is Every Picture Tells A Story which is wonderful. The way he takes the songs on make them unique and is his greatest talent yet his songwriting deserves to held aloft also with some very fine compositions.

This could be the only Rod Stewart purchase you need to make. Tread carefully if you want to go further. If you delve into his past and concurrent work with the Faces, it is a journey well worth making.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely, 19 Oct 2006
I got this piece of kit a few months ago and it hasn't come anywhere near letting me down. It is as other reviewers say very easy to set up and it must be one the best purchases you can make as backing up your documents is becoming ever more essential as we pack our hard drives to the hilt. This comes recommended very highly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Collection but..., 7 April 2004
This, although a great collection of Led Zep tracks, is not any where near the size of Remasters. Buy that double cd instead as it has a far more comprehensive look at the best heavy rock band in history.
Obviously buy the individual albums if you like either album, they're filled with sublime music, only ever bettered by The Beatles, Stones and Floyd.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well, It Is The Most Important Game Of Your Life, 12 Nov 2003
Ask yourself this, Do you really need this game?
First answer is that if do not own a previous title,(is there anyone out there that doesn't), then this is more necessary than your job and anything else you find important will become trivial when you enter this world. You will be trying to split the game and real life goings on because it is oh so realistic. In many ways it it really does control your life, when you awake, eat, bathe, see your friends(make the most of them as once you buy this there'll be no need for them!!)and sleep.
But like me if you own CM4, is there any need for this as there are updates anyway on the net for us to download but of course I want the thing in its own case and have the authentic item, and lets hope there aren't any bugs on this one.
I couldn't give less than 5 stars because its CM and every other release has some how been better than its predecessor so go get it. Simple enough.
By the way the 3D engine is awesome, I thought it be the deathnell as I remember the old Sensible Soccer ones which were crap but the captions follow the play exactly.
And who wouldn't wanna be the dream that is Chelsea.
P.s I am not a Chelsea fan

5.0 out of 5 stars Most Anticipated DVD Release Of The Year, 19 Oct 2003
This is the one DVD boxset you must buy this year. Raiders Of The Lost Ark is the seminal action adventure that rules the genre. Packed with edge of your seat excitement and comedy, this trilogy is one to go alongside The Godfather boxset.
Harrison Ford is magnetic, the best action actor, remember in this period between 76 - 82 he also was in the Star Wars trilogy, Apocalypse Now and Blade Runner, he was the main hollywood attraction of the time. The support is also fantastic and in The Last Crusade, Sean Connery appearance as Indy's father is one of the greatest supporting parts/cameos in cinema history. Uniting the pair is a film fans' dream.
The extra disc, like the aforementioned Godfather trilogy boxset, is packed full of interesting and fun extras for Indy followers, this a certainty to be at the top of the best DVD lists for a long time, Its certainly worth the money, Indy is certain to make your DVD player heave with delight.

3.0 out of 5 stars The Calm Before The Storm, 14 Oct 2003
After The Matrix, one of THE greatest films in history was released, I sat in the cinema at the end of the film and could not wait to see the next instalment, I trust there many in the same position.
That is why the hype for this film has been so over the top, everybody wanted a masterpiece, with advancements on every level. Unfortunately although the effects are great, they didn't have the same impact as the first film. Yes the story developed but there was a lot of useless parts in this film which made it gratuitous (overlong fight and love scenes)and boring although more of Monica Bellucci would've been appreciated.
This in a way sets down the tone for Revolutions because it didn't reach the heights of The Matrix but did give us some kind of story, which was stretched to its limits so they can blow us away with a full on assault on all our senses with the final part.
A worthy addition to any collection, especially if Revolutions delivers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Whaddya mean, you don't own this?, 8 Oct 2003
This review is from: Definitely Maybe (Audio CD)
This is essential, the album of 1994, better than Parklife and Dummy for different reasons. Yes one 'invented' Britpop and the other 'Trip-Hop' but Oasis gave us what we really needed, a kick up the arse.

I think you own this and wanna see what others think, I don't see any reason why anybody doesn't own this, Its one of the top 15 albums of all time.Just stick it on before you go out on a saturday night, sets it up nicely/

5.0 out of 5 stars The Greatest Film Ever, 8 Oct 2003
This an astonishing piece of work from all involved, the cinematogaraphy is stunning, direction is wonderful and the acting is of the highest order. You know its good when Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman give career defining performances as well as Willaim Sadler and the bloke from Ally McBeal.
The story is of a man who feels he has been wrongly imprisoned (Tim Robbins) who forms a unique and strong bond with Red (Morgan Freeman) and while the plot and sub-plots meandre on, a twist comes along which will truly blow you away, when I first saw it, I sat in complete awe at the fantastic storytelling.
The second and third time you see the film the characters become deeper and the sub-plots thicken, you can watch this film time after time and unlike video, this will never wear out.
Ptrobably the greatest bargain of any kind in existence.
Truly original, engrossing and remember, Hope can set you free.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Number Two Film, 8 Oct 2003
This is my second favourite film, Shawshank is number 1, because it fills three hours with constant excitement and twists and turns of such magnitudes they aren't seen very often.
The cast is stellar, look for yourself at the list for the 3 films and the prizes they and the films have won.
Undeniably promoting a violent and illegal way of life by making it look terribly cool, its violence is extremely gory, It does tell us this is a very dangerous way of life and best not to get involved because the temptations are too strong as Michael finds out.
This set is the most indipensible collection in the DVD world, buy and immerse yourself in a different world.
