DP Liquid Soap Flakes - Gentle Cleaning 750ML
DP Liquid Soap Flakes - Gentle Cleaning 750ML
Offered by Diy-Direct
Price: £5.90

5.0 out of 5 stars Ideal for treated fabrics like outdoor clothing, 11 Jun. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Simple liquid soap without the bleach and detergents of modern washing powders. Ideal for outdoor clothes treated with waterproofing. The liquid form avoids having to dissolve soap flakes (no lumps!) and is easy to measure. I use it (cool n gentle wash) on fine wool products instead of dry cleaning. Great to have in the cupboard.

Great motherboard, latest USB 3.0 (including 19 pin header...watch out for the LE variant though, it does not have the header), SATA III, AM3+, brilliant BIOS for tweakers and really cool running.

It does the job but complains noisily all the way. From the old TSST camp, avoid. Liteon are good value at the moment (March 2013)

If you have just bought an AMD chip and the stock cooler is making you wince then buy this kit. Brilliant for a nice quiet multi media box.

5.0 out of 5 stars 6 months in and all's well, 15 Mar. 2013

Not really pushed but still quietly performing as new. Just gets on with the task as it should, tray opens and closes as instructed, push button open and software close or vice versa. No hiccups on replay and fast enough when writing. Competent kit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Precision engineered cradle., 15 Mar. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Just what you need for a couple of SSDs (or 2.5" HDDs...or one of each) to fit inside a PC 3.5" bay. The engineering is precise. Some 3.5" 'tool less' fixings that come with your PC case, with threadless studs, may prove a challenge. This adapter quite sensibly uses threaded fixings to fit into a 3.5" bay. The resolution is to press out the studs (pliers do the job) on the 'tool less' fittings and use screws instead.

3.0 out of 5 stars Where's the USB3 header?, 14 Mar. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Excellent 'budget' board that requires stand alone PCIe graphics card. That in itself will greatly assist durability. Solid capacitors all round and SATAIII, USB 3.0 and AMD FX cpu capable. But oh, why ASUS? Why did you not put a USB 3.0 header on the board (the space on the circuit board is there and begging for it)? Consequently if you have a case with a front panel that is USB 3.0 wired (e.g. Antec 300 Two), then you have to buy an adapter to join the lovely blue front panel USB 3.0 ports to the USB 2.0 headers, downgrading the front panel ports to USB 2.0 and making the wiring 'bodgey' in appearance. Why nobble an otherwise excellent board?

EDIT
Why indeed, well I've been a bit dim looking at this purchase. You need to check the detailed specification to find the words 'front panel USB 3.0 header'. If it doesn't say that then don't assume that 'latest USB 3.0' will cover that. If you want a USB 3.0 front panel header go for the 'Asus M5A97 R2.0' board or the EVO variant, sounds very similar but does not have the 'LE' qualification. You can use the link below and then use the Asus compare feature to tease out the differences.

[uk dot asus dot com/Motherboards/AMD_AM3Plus/AMD_970SB950]

Why have Asus done this? It's a question of power requirement through the motherboard. The USB 3.0 standard demands 0.9 watt per port whereas the USB 2.0 standard is 0.5 watt per port. (...and it's all about to change again) To go for a front panel USB 3.0 header means that an extra heatsink is required to help cool the board down. This heatsink (on the power phase control) happens to be right alongside a big case fan in an Antec Three Hundred Two so not an issue. Do check your case and front panel before deciding which board to buy.

Last but not least, Amazon, you have been brilliant, swopping out the LE board I had purchased, opened and put in the case before I noticed the lack of USB 3.0 header. That is 'Super' service! Asus, you have to make it clear that there is no USB 3.0 header on the LE, not simply state 'latest USB 3.0'.

A very competent iron. Keep the water reservoir full when using steam or it will hiss and pop at you to remind you to fill it up. Best iron I've had for decades.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for those with older types of Maglites, 14 Mar. 2013

They do the job as 'conventional' bulbs and can be hard to find. Consider looking at LED Maglites if your old one is a bit battered. LED technology gives longer battery life.
