Logitech Mini Wireless Boombox - Red
Logitech Mini Wireless Boombox - Red

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a good little bastard, 18 Sept. 2015
I didn't realise how good this Loudspeaker was, before I got a newer Jensen Buddy which drops the Bluetooth connection after minutes with paused playing. The requires that you press the connect button really hard, forever. And never has been willing to connect to my phone.
My Mini Boombox has fallen in the floor. Both the top and bottom panels has been ripped off. The battery is visible, and leads are sticking out.
And it is still my favorite Bluetooth speaker.

Rare: The High-Stakes Race to Satisfy Our Need for the Scarcest Metals on Earth
Rare: The High-Stakes Race to Satisfy Our Need for the Scarcest Metals on Earth

2.0 out of 5 stars How many inaccuracies will this book have?, 15 Sept. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The book is too superficial to be a joy to read. People with more chemistry than me stopped after three chapters. I am disappointed after page 19. And already the author has claimed that silver is only five times more common than platinum, if you read what he has written with half a page's distance. I will probably browse a bit more, bit I only expect to be disappointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice replay. And somewhat mysterious UK adaptions., 11 Sept. 2015

This review is from: Humans [DVD] (DVD)
It's nice to see a replay of the Swedish series that was cut too short with only two seasons.
The subtle similarities and differences to the orignal series is facinating to watch. -- And it is partially understandable why the family's daughter was changed from the geniuinely strong and facinating Swedish Matilda to the obnoxious English Mattie. But not entirely:

Does anyone have any idea why they made Mattie into such a charicature of an English young female? (It's a bit of the same in Niska.) Would the Swedish versions seem too false? Any opinions?

The Survivors Club: How To Survive Anything
The Survivors Club: How To Survive Anything
by Ben Sherwood
Edition: Paperback
Price: £10.99

2.0 out of 5 stars Wishy washy and somewhat repetetive., 27 Aug. 2015
It stater with the feeling of a book worth 4.5 stars; then is started to slide down with the frequent thought: "Why didn't you get a better editor?", due to all the repetitions. -- Quite soon it was also abvious that it was written for feelgood-aunts, too. -- Three quarters through the book I had decided to give it away anonymously. But as I have finished it, I can only drop it in the dustbin...
And it is NOT well written.

AMLS Advanced Medical Life Support
AMLS Advanced Medical Life Support
by NAEMT
Edition: Paperback
Price: £42.99

2.0 out of 5 stars Weird and boring., 17 May 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Why is the book weird?: The book is obviously written for someone why knows all the latin, but has to be explained that arteries is something that contains blood. -- It makes tiring explanaitions out of the simplest thing, and then it starts to list of hormones in an allmost rambling way.
Why is the book boring?: The language makes the book boring. A major guideline in writing this book, is obviously that each and every sentence has to be written in passive grammar. It soon get tiring. I have read much more professional medical litterature both in English and other languages, that doesn't adhere to this strict rule; and they are much better reads.

Want an example?: Study the bread text on page 156-157 (hormonal compensation against shock). Use other sources to understand the topic. Then go to Figure 4.4 on the same page, read carefully; and you will see that the figure and text is almost randomly pasted in from another book. It has nothing to do with shock. It is just cut-and-paste-to-baffle.

3.0 out of 5 stars Boring in the end, 8 July 2014
Boring in the end.
The car chase in the end went on forever. and then it continued.

Long before the car chase had finished the atmosphere in the cinema was dead. -- I wasn't the only one silently asking the scene to be finished five minutes ago.

Boring in the end.
The motorsycle chase at the end went on so long that it beca,e boring.

It didn't help that the winter mountain scenes made winter survival look trivial.

PHTLS: Prehospital Trauma Life Support, Seventh Military Edition
PHTLS: Prehospital Trauma Life Support, Seventh Military Edition
by Naemt
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars A notch more than the red, civilian version, 26 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The "green" PHTLS book has a handful chapters (100 pages plus) in addition to the normal "red" book.
It has all that the red book has, word for word, so it is no problem to use it on a civilian course. But it seems that a little bit of extra work has gone into the military chapters. And a couple of these may bring some for the civilian user too. The military chapter on bomb blasts seemed to fill out the civilian Chapter 19 with regards to some extra quality.

The drawback is that the book is thicker and heavier. The sheer size can be a tad too much.

1.0 out of 5 stars Quadrilogy: Forcefeeding of hideous trailer on DVD # 2, 10 Nov. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Underworld Quadrilogy [DVD] (DVD)
Quadrilogy:(Product, not movie):
I put on DVD # 2 "Evolution" and was force fed with hideous trailer for a disgusting horror movie.
And you can't go to "Menu". You are literally force fed this abhorrent stuff, when you instead want to enjoy "Underworld Evolution".
Just because one liked "Underworld 1", does not imply that one even want to know that "Slither" exists. Even less than being subjugated to trailers you can skip or evade.
