5.0 out of 5 stars POETRY by LARKIN, 22 Jan 2002
This review is from: High Windows (Paperback)
Anyone who has read WHITSUN WEDDINGS wont be surprised that this typical Larkin.
I have recently been introduced to his work and although some may say hes depressing, I find his work wonderful.
He sees life as it is some of the time and doesn't try to convince everything is always wonderful.
If you like Larkin or are just starting to read him, well worth a read.
Absolutely great.

4.0 out of 5 stars ANTI-WAR, TIME TRAVELLING SCI FI BOOK, 22 Jan 2002
I had to read this book as part of my studies, it is not my usual genre but I actually got quite intrigued by the time travel. I ended up trying to guess what the ending would be. It is well written and quite addictive once you start to read.
The end(if thats what you can call it) is strange ????????
Well worth reading, even for a sci-fi phobic like myself.
Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!! I did!!!!!!!!!
