Totally boring for 100 pages..., 10 Sep 2006
Having read both the Gerrard & Lampard books when i look back Lampards feels so second rate. I put it down to one thing really the fact that Lampard hasnt got that much to talk about untill hes 26 so youmust endure what felt like 200 pages about his child hood and doing spikes. Wheras the Gerrard book takes 25 pages of his youth (that being all the good parts) and then hes straight in the with hillarious stories of the acedemy and then on to England, it just flows so much better. Over all though it was a quality read but if i were to read it again id skip 100 pages first.
