5.0 out of 5 stars Top stuff, 26 Dec 2006
At last a decent cd from bowling for soup!!! They always promise great things with their singles but the albums are usually too samey and patchy, not so this time,14 top notch, incredibly catchy songs which for once don't all sound the same.If you like rock with awesome hooks and a bit of tongue in cheek humour then this is defenitely for you, can't fail to put a smile on your face or brighten up a dull day (perhaps I'm going a bit far with the last one but it's great stuff!!)

2.0 out of 5 stars not upto scratch, 28 Feb 2006
mmmmmmmm, sorry mister masterton but if this is the standard of your work to come,I think I'll give up now.I've been a fan of Graham Masterton for a long time now and he's written some stunning books and I have to admit, this is the first time I've finsished one of his novels and been dissappointed, not just dissapointed,I was glad to have finsished it.It's filled with mistakes, including some real big ones,my favourite was the book is about a child welfare officer who is deaf, completely, totally deaf. The books goes to great pains to explain this and then in at least two places masterton describes the characted as having heard noises, one time when she came to open her apartment door she heard laughter coming from inside. My other gripe is that this book pretends to be a horror story but spends most of it's time describing terrible things done to children, now I know the main character is a child welfare officer but the real nitty gritty and extremity this book goes to,well I could have done without. And then you get to the end and it's the most depressing ending to a book ever you've got the full package. This book was unpleasant to read and was unpleasant to finish, with the supernatural aspect described on the cover barely dealt with and thrown away to make room for more skin crawl inducing descriptions.Do yourself a favour and give this one an enormous berth.

5.0 out of 5 stars iggy pop finds fountain of youth!!!!!!!!!!!, 12 Oct 2003
This review is from: Skull Ring (Audio CD)
FANTASTIC!!!Don't really know why it's taken iggy so long to make an album that is this good,it's like all your favourite bits of iggy, the stooges and all your favourite bands all put together, absolutely superb.his solo work over the last few albums has been patchy at best, american caesar being about the best, this blows them all out of the water, buy this album now, satisfaction is guaranteed!!!!!!IGGY ROCKS!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars yamada horror, 6 Oct 2003
i bought this dvd player about a month ago and on first inspection it seemed a nice product.loaded with features,it even played cd+g discs which is very rare even for a more expensive dvdplayer and the multi-region worked fine.this was all until day two of ownership when it broke and refused to play any dvds at all, fantastic.it's since been returned and i'm not surprised it's been discontinued.

5.0 out of 5 stars VERY,VERY SCAREY!!!, 6 Sep 2003
This review is from: Black Angel (Paperback)
Graham Masterton is a superb horror writer and one that,in my opinion should be more popular than he is.Perhaps the reason for his limited following is that his books,to me,seem to be a bit more extreme than other writers, some parts of this book made me feel sick to my stomach, which really is what a horror book should do.This is an absolutely fantastic novel but not for the faint hearted, read it with the lights on!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Graham Masterton does it again, 4 Sep 2003
This review is from: Burial (Paperback)
I've just finished this book and have to say it ranks up there with the finest of Mastertons work.I find it very odd that his novels aren't more widely available (just check your bookshop, there'll be nothing) as he's easily as good a writer as the more popular authors of the genre ie stephen king and james herbert.the subject of ancient indian spirits is a novel one and one that i haven't come across before and i found this absolutely unputdownable (if that's a word),very highly recommended!!!
