American fridges?, 16 Oct 2010
How big are American fridges?
I know they are taller and wider than the standard British one but have they the depth to stuff a human body into?
This is a hypothesis we not have to accept once but twice in David Baldacci's TRUE BLUE.
These, plus the two encounters with Psycho and the one with the female Russian assassin suggests that Baldacci has developed a certain contempt for his readership, which is sad.
The only other Baldacci novel I have read was ABSOLUTE POWER, some years ago now. I believe that was his writing debut and from memory it was quite promising and I certainly intended getting around to reading more of his books. After this effort I won't be bothering.
