2.0 out of 5 stars not enjoying this one bit, 25 Nov. 2013

stupid perk system, stupid dull grey bland maps, crap progression and removal of best game modes mean that this is massively underwhelming. if you were on the fence about getting this, i wouldn't bother

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent (if you like more of the same), 25 Nov. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
If you liked either of the previous games, buy this now. Storyline excellent, gameplay largely unchanged - it does feel that this is somewhat of a filler until the next 'proper' release, but when the game is this good, that is absolutely not a bad thing

if you didn't like either of the first games, then i would avoid this! :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect, 17 April 2012

I'm a big fan of the GTA series of games and i love the wild west, so i guess the chances were pretty high i would really love this game anyway - but i was not disappointed. the controls, the setting, the gameplay and most of all the 'feel' of this game are nigh-on perfect. it's an incredibly engrossing storyline and the missions, which in GTA games can often feel quite samey after a while were suitably varied.

i would give this 10/10 and recommend it to anyone with a PS3 who hasnt' played it. it is magnificent, and the undead nightmare is also fantastic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best new band in years, 8 Aug. 2007
This review is from: Cavorting (Audio CD)
The Courteeners are the best new band to come out of Manchester in years, apparently. To my mind they're the best new band to come out of anywhere in years, full stop, since Oasis showed up over a decade ago. In the meantime we've had bands such as the Libertines, Kasabian and The Artic Monkeys reveal themselves as talented pretenders to the throne. Well they had the tunes, now a band has shown up that has the tunes AND the swagger. This band are going to be huge.
