5.0 out of 5 stars Even Better than Before, 29 Mar. 2005
This review is from: Devils Playground (Audio CD)
Billy's back!! He may be almost 50, but this is by far the best CD I've heard this year. In terms of Billy's previous albums, I reckon this is the best. He has been away for 10 years and hasn't lost his power or class.
There isn't a dud on the album - even the Christmas song "yellin' at the Xmas Tree" is brilliant. All of today's 'Angry Poppets' need to hear how the master can snarl and put power into all his songs.
I bought this in the hope that it would be OK - I loved it so much I had to put this review on the Internet!

5.0 out of 5 stars The best 12 quid you will ever spend - every song a diamond, 22 Feb. 2000
This review is from: Never too loud (Audio CD)
Angry Anderson had THE greatest Voice for delivering some of the most powerful and gritty songs the world has ever known - that Rose Tattoo never made billions from their music is criminal. The only band (ever) to be awarded 5 stars for each of the first 4 albums from Sounds. Whatever your mood, however you are feeling, Rose Tattoo have a song for it - don't be fooled by inferior bands with songs about love/hate/justice/intolerance etc - this band have lived every song. Play every song as loud as your system can handle - Questions should be asked in Parliament as to why they never made it big!
