5.0 out of 5 stars Basket of Golden Eggs, 11 Jun. 2012
This review is from: Blast Tyrant (Audio CD)
Already a classic Clutch album in it's own right, Blast Tyrant/Basket is the icing on an awesomely tasty Clutch cake, not to mention that Boxcar Shorty and the other new tunes are solid gold Clutch. Other reissues etc sling in a couple of ropey extras that were never meant for human ears and for very good reason. Not with Clutch. These good old boys from Maryland deliver with interest.

5.0 out of 5 stars Infidel, 28 Dec. 2010
This review is from: Infidel (Paperback)
What can be described as a companion to Sebastian Junger's War, Tim Hetherington accompanied Junger as photographer on his trips to Korengal. Hetherington's photographs are fascinating and compelling, we are reminded that these are soldiers, festoned with kit and weapons, in dugouts and bunkers but also that they are 18 & 19 year olds. Take them out of their military environment and they would be like any other teenagers and twentysomethings, obsessed with girls, cars, video games. These pictures eloquently convey that it is the young who pay the ultimate price in war.
