It was dirty and the base has moulding marks in it, which does not allow you to get any suction. The company has not replied to my request for a prepaid returns label.

It's not even worth pushing the click button to download this rubbish! You are to believe that a man who is about to rape and kill a women marries her and they catch serial killers. The stories are short and not believable at all!

5.0 out of 5 stars Iggulden's latest and can't wait for the next one!!, 30 Jan 2014

I have read every book by Conn Iggulden and enjoyed them all. He like most writers move dates and places around to fit the story, there is nothing wrong with that as it's fiction!

1.0 out of 5 stars A lira for them!!, 30 Jan 2014

Dan Brown's Inferno is sadly lacking in facts! It's the everyday things that count and Dan Brown thinks he knows everything! Near the start of the book he states that there are wooden planks and blocks to put up in St. Marks Square when it floods. As the book was written last year and the story is in the present, he should have gone to Venice instead of sitting at his laptop. In St. Marks Square there is specially made platforms ready to be lined up so people can work over them when the square floods. They have been there for some years! This is just one of his "mistakes"! There is no clean salty ocean breeze when you arrive at the western end of the Grand Canal, far from it! Langdon wanted to get down the Grand Canal fast and did not want to use the Vaporetto "water bus". This water bus will get you there just a fast as any motor boat as there is a speed limit on all canals in Venice. So they hire a water limousine and the driver is wearing a tailored Armani suit, what a joke! There are water taxis that are costly, but a water limousine and a Armani suit, really!!

The Grand Canal does not merge with the open sea, Venice is in a massive lagoon. There are only a few cruise liners in Venice at any one time and when they come near Venice two tugs boats are roped each end and tow the liner to it's berth. All this is done at low speed, there is NO WAKE! The only time any boat can go fast is when they are out in the lagoon and are in a lane of wooden poles. There is no heavy chop made by liners Dan! Gondolier's wear blue and white tops with black trousers, not black and white! The oar that is used to move a gondola is not attached to gunwale as Dan has written, it is placed against the Forcola and the oar is moved to the front, side or rear of it to move and control the gondola.

Dan Brown quoted that Venice has twenty million visitors a year and Venice is groaning under the weight and at some point would not longer be able to find enough beds for all this visitors. Dan, like most USA writers, don't know as much about the rest of the world as they think! All visitors to Venice have to pay to enter Venice and the bulk of visitors are only there for the day. So, sorry Dan there is not the need to look for more beds. "The Campanile" Dan states that, "a lost traveler with a single glance skyward would see they way back to St Mark's square" Oh dear Dan, you do write a load of tripe. I am six foot tall and as soon as I was in a passageway or on a canal other than the lagoon I could not see the Campanile.

Sienna said to Langdon "A lira for them" What a joke! She does not come Italy and they have the Euro Danny boy!!

All art works, buildings etc can be found on the internet. Dan Brown should go to the places he is writing about, like Bernard Cornwell does and do proper research! You know, like the research done by the American who purchased London Bridge and thought he was buying Tower Bridge!!

The plot is tripe and if you want to dish up tripe Dan, just do it in the USA.

Last time I waste my money on a Dan Brown book!

1.0 out of 5 stars Rubbish, 24 Dec 2013

Since the sad death of Wilbur Smith's first wife, his books have been badly written. The love scenes are crude, corny and a 15 years old could do better! In his earlier work his wife helped him write the love scenes! The basic plot is good, but it is full of stupid mistakes and not at all believable. The dinner talk that Hector and Hazel had at the beginning of the book came from some 1930 cheap romantic novel. Hector Cross should had pushed Jonny out of the plane, he really deserved that, Jo stopped Hector and still left him and the way she left him was about as corny as anyone could get.

Does this mean we have got to read his next corny book to find that Hector gets Jonny and kills him and then gets back with Jo? You judge!!!!

I have read all the assassin books by Russell Blake and enjoyed them. They are full of information and very gritty! But Jet is rubbish! I read the first few chapters and thought the book was going to be good, however I was soon disappointed with it. I will not be buying any more Russell Blake books.

Reading this book confirms that USA females do not have any sense! They try and make the story all very lovely, however the reasoning behind any decision they make is nonsense!! Don't believe me? Read the book then!!
