Small, well priced quality, 14 Nov. 2002
Although having only had this camera for a small period of time, it definitely fulfills all my requirements. I used to have a sony 3mp camera that ran off AA batteries. Although the quality was exceedingly good, it was quite bulky. In my opinion, the beauty of Digital is that you end up making more photo's of events you normally would not have done because of the difficulty/expense of it all. Having a camera small enough to easily fit in your pocket, just enhances that. The Ixus V3 also seems to be exceedingly well built in its all metal case. Once again this would make it more likely that you would have it with you at the right moments. The camera has also proved to be very 'clever'. It automatically registers the orientation, which saves some of the work afterwards during editing. Its white balance also seems to be better than that of the sony, pictures come out with more natural colours than many of the others.
I think though that the size has to be its main selling quality and combined with its many other features and solid design, I have given it a rating of 5 stars.
