3.0 out of 5 stars Another vertical bubble would be better. Other than that its a solid level, 31 Jan. 2015

Pain in the arse. Im a pipe fitter so i use my level daily. This ones problem is that the horizontal bubble is always seperating. By which i mean instead of one bubble theres several and you have to shake it to get it back to normal. the adjustable bubble is of no use to anyone who needs to work within a small tolerance. Another vertical bubble would be better.
Other than that its a solid level. No worries if you drop it cuz it can take a hit. It doesnt fit in the side of my boilersuit leg pocket thing and that kinda annoys me but its no big deal.
If it wernt for the bubble issue itd be a must have but for me that ruins it. I reccomend the yellow stanley levels over this anyday

2.0 out of 5 stars Dont like it at all, 31 Jan. 2015

Dont like it at all. The concept and that is nice but when you look close at this print you can see how shaddy the editting is and you cant unnotice it. The building is made by reapting a small portion over and over but it doesnt match up and you can tell its not real. The walls on the side go up at an angle while the windows run straight. Its a hard to explain but its not a well ediited piece and i wouldnt waste your money on it. Quality wise the print is fine and the colours are nice and bright. I just cant see past the crappy editing tho

5.0 out of 5 stars I was expecting a piece of crap but its a surprisingly decent helmet, 31 Jan. 2015

I was expecting a piece of crap but its a surprisingly decent helmet. Ive a fat head but this hood easily opens up enough to fit me even when i have a hood up and hat on. Your getting what you pay for. A decent welding mask thatl serve you well. Youl wanna have a bit of leather or something similar fasted to the bottom to make sure your getting full protection from the welding rays but i do that with every hood anyway. Had mine since September and its still going good. Lenses are easy to change aswell.

3.0 out of 5 stars Tendonitis sufferers beware, 31 Jan. 2015

Honestly itl do the job but i advise spending more money on a more powerfull setup.
Only buy this if your planning on doing very light sanding as thats whats its for it cant handle mucn more than that. Removing paint from wood and removing a oiled finish is what it excels at. I bought with the intention of sanding my floorboards in the areas a floor sander cant reach. Trying to bring wood down to its natural grain was a battle and took a long time. Worth noting aswell that the vibrations this thing gives off are worse than 9'' grinders. Never seen a powertool with vibrations this fierce. Not a problem for most people but if you have carpal tunnel like myself youl only be using this for 15 minutes before putting it down. For the price im very happy with my purchase but i should have done more research prior to buying it. That is my fault tho and not a negative on the sander. The case is nice and handy for storing it aswell. would be 5 stars if it wernt for the vibrations it gives off.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pleasure to look at but a pest to build, 31 Jan. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
First off il say after its built it looks lovely and not like a cheap pieice of ikea furniture.

It arrived by courier and was falling out the box. The packaging near non existant. This could be down to the courier but the wear and tear was ridiculous so i know the seller didnt bother too package it properly. Not acceptable for a desk costing 150 quid. I had to check the pieces before signing for it.

Building it was a nightmare. Ive worked with my hands my whole adult life and always dread building flat pack items cuz its boring and effortless but this was a battle. You wont be able to simply put it together with a screwdriver. A drill is required for putting holes through the top piece of wood so the other top part can sit on top of it. Thats down to the design but you should be aware of this incase you dont have tools at hand.
Many of the screws didnt fit and the heads simply rounded when any pressure was applied. the 50mm screws supplied are far too long and plainly just dont fit. A lot of the holes that are meant to be already there for you wernt there in my case so i had to do that myself. I battled to get the cupboard door straight. The pre drilled holes for the hinges were easily a good 5 mm out were no use. Left the door lop sided and stuck. The drawer will require some doctoring aswell to get right. The instructions are simple enough and easy to follow. Had the parts been labelled like theyre supposed to be it would have made life easier but it wont stop you putting it together. Hands down the most awkward and stress inducing piece of flat pack ive put together.

Once it was altogether though i was very happy. Its solid and looks great. The wood grain is lovely and doesnt look like laminated chipboard. Despite the nightmare putting it together i dont regret my purchase. Its a beautiful desk worth the price. Id reccomend fitting some LEDs in the shelves like i did to light them up. It looks awesome

3.0 out of 5 stars Better to find one with a UK plug if your ..., 31 Jan. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Came fitted with a European plug so youl need an adapter to plug it in. Better to find one with a UK plug if your in Britain. Had i not already had one id be pissed off.

I expected a novelty but it actually gives off a decent amount of light. IT looks absolutely gorgeous though but i have to rate it down as its a little bit twitchy. You can arrange the blocks in any shape and it lights up but sometimes certain blocks will flicker on and off and a knock to the table will make it flicker too. I dont know if thats just this just the makers shaddy build quality but its annoying. If possible id say go and find one with higher quality. The extra cost would be worth it. Picutes wont do it justice cuz it seriously looks amazing.

i thought this game was bloody terrible. I thought it failed as a FPS game and failed as being a supposed horror game, which it clearly isnt.
I didnt come remotely close to finishing it. I played around half an hour and then called it quits, Maybe it gets good later on but i really didnt have the patience to find out. The gameplay was awkward, thats something i can overlook if the story catches me but this definately didnt.
I payed 99p for it when i bought it from amazon and whatever P+P was so it wasnt like i felt cheated out of money but it was definately a waste.

5.0 out of 5 stars i never realised how good they were until i went back to normal strings, 3 Sept. 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Ive always used just regualar strings and never bothered with the exp coated ones. The prices mainly put me off them to be honest.
I think when i bought them i was expecting a dramatic differnce in sound, to which there is none.
I think i restrung roughly a month later and swore i wouldnt buy these strings again as i didndt see the difference. Then within 2 days of putting on regular Daddrio strings they had already lost their colour and were sounding dull. The same happens with martin strings aswell. After 2-3 days they dull and the fresh string sound has gone completely.
Id say these strings have a good 2-3 weeks before theyl lose colour and youl be wanting a change. If you want to keep your guitar sounding fresh, which i think everyone does go with exps. Theyre more expensive but absolutely worth it. Really u save money in the long run as they do last a lot longer.

5.0 out of 5 stars my laptop is 17 inches, 3 Sept. 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I have a 17 inch HP pavillion laptop. I cant even leave this on a flat surface for more than 10 minutes before its groaning away and burning up.
I was looking about for a cooler wide enough to suit this laptop.
The cooler itself is about 15inches wide which although is smaller than my notebook, it stops it getting hot.
The area of my laptop which over heats is the back left. I would alwyas leave it overhanging my desk yet it would still get really toasty.
The fans on this cooler are not directly under the motor but none the less it doesnt get hot at all.
Considering the daft price i payed for this laptop i really cant complain with the cost of the cooler. It does the job and will hopefully keep this thing alive for a lot longer.
