3.0 out of 5 stars Cheaper in the shops, 15 Jan 2012
I've enjoyed watching all the series of Stormchasers, and this was probably the most exciting and eventful yet. The style of filming and constant replaying of previous events does get a little tiresome. Because the adverts would normally be showing when aired on TV in America you are constantly shown the same footage over and over again. It's as if the producers think the viewers have the memory of a goldfish. Also the editing style can be annoying when you wish they would just slow down and concentrate on showing the storm instead of swinging the camera around between the chasers and the storm.
Also I was disapointed to find that it was for sale in the works bookshop for 4.99 as mentioned in another review. So before parting with your cash here just check the shops or order it online at the works as even with postage it still comes in 4 quid cheaper.

5.0 out of 5 stars Refreshing change, 8 April 2003
This review is from: Sound (Audio CD)
Having been listening to dance music for a good 15 years, I found that I was increasingly going back to old albums that I had known and loved from the past. Much of the dance music of recent times seemed to follow a familiar formula which although listenable never seemed to stand out from the crowd. Luckily I came across this album thanks to an old friend. A blend of reggae, Drum & Bass, and techno, this is now a firm favourite of mine. Stick out tracks for me are Digital Mastermind, and Different planets.

5.0 out of 5 stars A forgotten classic, 8 April 2003
This review is from: Virtual State (Audio CD)
This is an album of quality music, that is as new today as it was then. A forgotten classic, that shows that dance music can be innovating and refreshing, it's hard to believe it's nearly a decade old. Lagoon west sticks out as one of my personal favourites. I consider Kirk to be one of the all time greats, who could teach many of todays pretenders a thing or two when it comes to making quality tunes. It's just a sshame that he doesn't recieve the credit he deserves.
