Wow. I just found this! What a stunningly sophisticated lyric and delightful melody - and what a great voice! Moving yet uplifting too. Who is he? Surely he has more than one song? So looking forward to hearing more!! I could listen to this song over and over again!

Building Knowledge - an Architectural History of the University of Glasgow
Building Knowledge - an Architectural History of the University of Glasgow
by Nick Haynes
Edition: Paperback
Price: £19.95

5.0 out of 5 stars Number One Coffee Table Book - Stunning and Well Written, 4 Oct. 2013
This carefully researched and beautifully illustrated book will entrance anyone with a love of architecture or the history of The City of Glasgow. The University of Glasgow has always had a key place in the city's history and this beautifully written, detailed and insightful look at the Gilmore Hill campus building, designed by Gilbert Scott, (who also designed St Pancreas Station in London), will make a fantastic gift to grace the bookcase of any home. This is a story of the building and the building that is key to a city's heart but it also the story of the people who built it. Scots will love this new look at their City of Style - Glasgow but the book will also interest those more generally interested in architecture.

Its wonderful paperback format makes it a stunning gift.

5.0 out of 5 stars Insightful glimpse of pubs in two great cities, 2 Oct. 2013
This gorgeous little book of high quality postcards offers an insightful look at some of the gems of drinking holes that are on offer in Glasgow, Scotland's Style capital, and Edinburgh, its stunning capital city. Historic Scotland has done a wonderful job of selecting pubs which have character, charm and which are of historic significance. This book is a great gift for anyone who loves pubs in the cities and wants to explore some more. The pull out postcards are versatile for writing to friends at home and abroad.
