3.0 out of 5 stars Nice, quality and expensive, 25 May 2014

This is the added interior cover for the 14 mm hole size door viewers from Tosch.

This is solid, metal and well finished. Raised dimple for opening and closing and it looks and works well.

Price is pretty silly high though for it and I think it should be included in the purchase price of the viewer itself.

I decided to go with a German made, higher quality peep hole rather than the masses of unbranded one that can be had for a few quid. So, is the extra money worth it? Probably.

This looks and feels like a quality item. This model being the thinnest uses plastic optics instead of the glass in all the others. It is expensive and you also have to buy the cover for the inside separately, if you want one.

Drill a 14 mm hole and screw it together from each side. Pretty darn simple. I do feel like it should come with a rubber gasket though which it does not.

Works pretty well on my 20 mm thick door. Wide angle of about 160 degrees. Pretty small view you get but the optics are clear and clean.

Delivered quickly from Germany and overall I think worth it over the cheapo alternatives.

This cleaner says NOT to use it on ceramic sole plate irons. I have though and it appears to do no harm whatsoever.

Get your iron warm, not hot and gently glide over. It will smoke a little and dissolve. You then wipe with a cloth and it really does leave a nice clean, smudge free finish.

Better than Faultless hot iron cleaner one in a tube, because it clogs the steam holes with brown crud. This one is clear and works better.

Careful, if you have your iron too hot this thing will melt before your eyes in one go!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great strap, couple of niggles, 25 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a great strap. Secure, comfortable and your camera glides up the strap for quick draw access. Adjustable and if you are walking around at the zoo or whatever it makes sense to have the camera right there rather than in a bag, I have found.

Secure attachment to your camera with the screw connection and locking caribiner. You can move a couple of little clips so that the camera rests where you want it and can only move within the range you set, which is nice.

Downsides:

- Cost. Seems too expensive for all you get. This is basically just a strap at the end of the day.
- Plastic snap clip. Seems a weak point in terms of strength and theft prevention. They do sell a cover for it, which is equally over priced.

Despite those points this is the best strap I have found after several years of photography. I would prefer to take the thing off and on over my head and lose the clip altogether, and it should be a little less expensive.

If you can live with this though, get one it is very handy to use.

4.0 out of 5 stars Buy from Amazon direct!, 25 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Many of the negative reviews on here are NOT product reviews, they are seller reviews. My advice is to buy from Amazon directly, like I did and received a genuine Miele filter.

The charcoal filter is nice as it really does keep down the nasty smells, and it is still a HEPA filter.

Fits more snugly than the older design filters and the price from Amazon is less than Miele direct.

The new time strip thing is pretty pointless though. It is just a little fluid filled strip that you burst and it creeps along, apparently taking about a year. I had hoped this would somehow vary depending on your use but it is not in any way connected to the filters actual state of airflow.

As ever with filters, better to change too often than not often enough.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best ever, almost perfect!, 25 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
So what's so good about the Deluxe Tinker in the sea of options of Swiss Army Knives? Put simply:

- This has a Philips screw driver instead of a useless corkscrew!
- Has pliers, which despite being small work very well
- Is 4 layer, which in my opinion of the Goldilocks of widths!

Every single tool on this works well and it also has the full size blade, tweezers and toothpick. It is great value and finding fault with it is pretty hard.

So why not perfect? Well the dreaded plastic scales. They don't look great, feel great and are not premium enough, or durable enough.

Victorinox, make a Deluxe Tinker with Alox metal scales! It would be perfect!

5.0 out of 5 stars Small, clever and works, 25 May 2014

This handy little opener is smaller than I expected, thicker and sturdier than I expected and most importantly, works well.

The middle wedge for opening screw cap bottles works very well. Can't open that bottle of juice? No hassle now!

Bottle opener and cap lifter or ring pull lifter too and no moving parts or welds to break. Should last a long time and is WMF quality steel so should not corrode or stain over time.

Price: £3.90

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice, sharp and works, 25 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I needed a 14mm bit for installing a peep hole in a UPVC door. This states it can be used for wood and plastic so gave it a go.

Cut through it like butter and more importantly never cracked, jumped or did anything else undesirable!

Seems well made and from a trusted manufacturer. Probably not the cheapest way to buy drill bits, one at a time! I only needed one though and would recommend.

It's a steel rule. Mine arrived without a blemish, no sharp off cuts, not overly flexible or flimsy, just as I had hoped.

Cheap price delivered to your door and comes in very handy around the house. Clearly marked in metric and imperial with a hole to hang on a hook. Straight edge at beginning for lining up with.

If you are after one of these I would recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice little bag, not a lot of protection, 25 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Twenty quid for a Kata day bag? No brainer I thought and having used it a little while I am happy with it.

This is a pretty small bag of course so is just for carrying your camera and probably only a single lens attached. I carry a Canon 5Dmk3 and Tamron 24-70 f/2.8 attached, which fits in on its side and can be put in and taken out very easily.

There is a padded base to it but overall the bag does not offer a lot of padding or rigidity to it, and has no rain cover built in. Has a couple of little zipped areas as usual and is a handy little day bag for carrying the bare essentials.

Low cost which is great and to just pop in your camera, keys, wallet, phone etc is a handy little bag.
