Dirty Wars: The world is a battlefield, 4 Jan 2014
It badly needed editing ..........it's contents jumps about from country to country, time scale all over the place and requires a lot of work!! Also rather contradictory re Anwar Awlaki.
Nevertheless it contained a great deal of background information as to why Al Qaeda managed to grow so rapidly. It highlights the work of the various intelligence agencies and specialist Military programmes.
Yet to finish the second half!!
For a clearer picture of the activities in the Yemen, D. Johnsen 'The Last Refuge' - Yemen, Al-Qaeda, and the Battle for Arabia is an extremely well written and researched book.
