4.0 out of 5 stars Does the job. NOT 'Plug n Play'. Excellent tech support, 16 Feb. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
We have BT Homehub in a rambling rural property and wanted wifi in an outbuilding. Having spent an hour or more trying to set this up to work with our network I rang the technical support number - this was 11.30 on a Friday evening! This unit is definitely NOT plug and play and the user guide is quite technical. However the tech staff were endlessly patient, knowledgable and not at all patronising (in Japan I think!) and after guiding me through some very complicated settings changes I was up and running with hugely extended wifi coverage. For the support alone I would highly recommend this product. Advice; don't waste hours fiddling around, give them a ring !

5.0 out of 5 stars superb sound, easy set up, great value for money, 4 Feb. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
For its size and price the sound from this unit is unbelievable. Pairing was easy and trouble-free. Reproduction from my iPad was faultless though there were some drop-outs using my iPhone via Bluetooth. No problems at all using the jack lead. I have no use for the hands-free phone function so cannot vouch for this function. I have no hesitation in recommending this unit very highly. You won't be disappointed!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great BlackBerry accessory, 16 Feb. 2011
This was delivered quickly and is a reasonably priced, well made case for the Blackberry Curve 9300. The best thing is that it locks the keyboard when you put your BlackBerry in the case and wakes it up again when you take it out. How do they do that ??!! Excellent item, trusted seller.

2.0 out of 5 stars Beware Kindle users, 30 Dec. 2010
The content of this book seems authoratative and helpful but the star maps and constellation diagrams are too small to be usable on the Kindle, even at zoom.

1.0 out of 5 stars Beware; old translation, 28 Dec. 2010
While I agree with many of the reviewers about the value of this book per se, I would dispute the favourable reviews given to this edition. The transaltion dates from 1870 and compared to my (paper) Penguin Classics edition its a very poor translation indeed. I doubt whether most modern readers will get the true pleasure to be had from this book in the edition offerred here - albeit at bargain price. Do yourselves a favour and get the Penguin Classics edition

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money, 28 Dec. 2010
Don't waste your money on this. The table of contents and indeed the free 'sample' seem to indicate a comprehensive collection of country maps. Unless I too missed something there are NO MAPS, just a collection of unhelpful numbers; presumably some sort of census information but unattributed and undefined. I contacted Amazon and got my money back. Its not possible to give zero stars in a review but this is what this offerring deserves.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great watch let down by poor after-sales service, 7 Oct. 2010
This is a great watch - in every sense. Its HUGE so make sure you want a watch this big before you buy. Its well made, very stylish in its simplicity and is spot on, precision time-keeping. The crystal glass on mine scratched rather easily, and this is easy to do because of the size of the watch. What lets this watch down though is the poor customer services, at least for UK buyers. The customer service email contact simply doesn't produce a response. The telephone number is in the US and any customer sending a watch for servicing or repair will be faced with huge shipping costs and the possibilty of extra duty to pay when it comes back into the country. There don't appear to be any UK or European Service centres and I think the brand has been taken over by a US company. This is a great watch but I would have second thoughts before purchasing again because of the after-sales service issues.

4.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant little MP3 player - but NO video, 17 Jan. 2008
Having looked at the technical details above, apparently relating to this product, I naively thought the Zen Stone plus played video clips. They don't, this information must relate to the Zen V+ They are however brilliant, tiny, robust and easy to use MP3 players and fantastic value at this price.

3.0 out of 5 stars short on facts, 3 Sept. 2007
This was my first book on the subject and I have to say I was a bit disappointed. The author is a regular magazine contributor - and it shows. It's written in a blokey, chatty style that is rich in opinion but short on solid information. The first sections are, in fairness quite detailed and technical though information is not presented in a logical fashion. The later sections of the book are there just to add bulk - recipes and nature notes. I am sure that someone new to the sport, looking to improve their technique and learn more about the equipment could find a better source of information.
