Huge fan for B5, loved third space and fully expected this DVD to be of similar ilk, but sadly no. Too much dialog and not enough action. I genuinely was expecting several different stories in one dvd, only to find on story told three ways. Super disappointed, I have all the box sets and this dvd is by far the worst. Not a good addition to the B5 family. Sorry to disappoint. N.D where the chuff is G'kar and Londo???

5.0 out of 5 stars outstanding, just how I remembered it., 17 Oct 2013

If compared to modern day cartoon movies, its quite dated, however it was truly my most favour movie as a child, and it has lost none of its magic. Wonderful family film, highly recommended.

Genuinely laugh out loud funny. The cast are now very comfortable in their roles, as you would expect by season 6. I really enjoyed this box set, and can highly recommend it, even if you've never seen the B.B.T.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, 20 Sep 2013

This review is from: Dredd [DVD] (DVD)
As true to 2000AD's Judge Dredd as your going to get on a mid range budget film, loved it. Highly recommended. Very graphic, and gritty, and a genuine attempt to capture the feel of MegaCity1 that I knew so well form my youth. Best of all, Urban didn't take his helmet off once, joy. I walked out of the cinema when Arnold did that in the last film.

Roll on the next instalment......

3.0 out of 5 stars very nice costume which she'll be able to wear in about 4 months, 20 Sep 2013

The costume is very nice, however even though I'd ordered the 6 - 12 months size, it's massive and would be more suited for a toddlers size, not baby size, quite Disappointed !

5.0 out of 5 stars one of the best Dredd storylines I've read in a long long time., 6 Sep 2013

As the years have gone by, I have stopped collecting 2000AD. However I happened across Endgame, and found it as gripping, well drawn and coloured, as any of the blockbuster storylines of old. Highly recommended...

A Line in the Sand: Britain, France and the Struggle That Shaped the Middle East
A Line in the Sand: Britain, France and the Struggle That Shaped the Middle East
by James Barr
Edition: Paperback
Price: £4.92

5.0 out of 5 stars A real Education!, 18 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I just recently finished my copy, and found the book to be truly enjoyable, a genuine education about the genesis of the situation that plagues the Middle East, and the cut throat relationship between France and the UK, in their desperate attempt to outdo each other in colonising the middle east to access the natural wealth of those countries.

It gives a very good account of how both France and the UK in their arrogance interfered with the Middle East for their own benefits (and continue to do so to this very day). And explains how Israel re-conquered the land as they did thousands of years ago in a sea of blood.

5.0 out of 5 stars eye opening, chilling, and factual account, 20 Mar 2013

Superb book on the shocking journey the US government took of perceived need over ethics and morality. War crimes perpetrators, who should have been sentenced to life imprisonment or death, were deleted from the list, and smuggled into the US.

While most people are aware that the likes of Wernher von Braun where ushered into the US space programme, so many more made their way into the OSS and then into the fledging CIA, to continue their work on experimentation on people.
A dark and chilling account on the lengths the `west' went to in order to achieve a perceived advantage over Russia at the start of the cold war.

A very good read indeed.

5.0 out of 5 stars A book designed to shine a light in dark places, Highly Recommended!!!, 8 Jun 2011

I found Professor Sutton's work to be superbly referenced, and a thoroughly enjoyable book to read. This is truly a book for any serious students/readers on International Finance / World War I & II / and anyone with the slightest interest on what role did key Wall Street banks (Chase Manhattan, J.P Morgan) and other American businesses (Ford, AT&T, etc) support Hitler's rise to power by financing and trading with Nazi Germany.

Having read the 1star review on this book, I felt compelled to defend Professor Sutton's work and to perhaps suggest to the previous reviewer `I White' that they would do very well to read any of the following books by "REAL" historians.

In response to reviewer `I White's' comment that Professor Sutton's work smacked of `Conspiracy rules ok', I would wager next months mortgage payment that `I White' would find it difficult to dismiss the following essential reading list as a collection of conspiracy writers.

All of the following authors and books point, support, and provide evidence to the very same conclusions that Professor Sutton reaches in his book ..........Let the light shine in dark places!!!!!

All honorable men by James Stewart Martin

America's Second Crusade by William Henry Chamberlin

Perpetual War for Perpetual Peace by Harry Elmer Barnes

The Confessions of a Monopolist by Frederic Clems Howe

The Makers of War by Francis Neilson

RULERS OF AMERICA: A STUDY OF FINANCE CAPITAL by Anna Rochester

War is a Racket: The Antiwar Classic by America's Most Decorated General - Smedley D. Butler

Conjuring Hitler: How Britain and America Made the Third Reich by Guido Giacomo Preparata

Germany's Foreign Indebtedness - by C.R.S. Harris;
