5.0 out of 5 stars Most of the classics and an excellent new song as a bonus, 13 Aug 2014
This review is from: The Very Best Of (Audio CD)
Most of the classics and an excellent new song as a bonus. Not sure it's worth it for anyone that has most of their stuff already.

2.0 out of 5 stars Frustrating., 13 Aug 2014
When this printer works well it's excellent. The wifi's good and easy enough to set up. The print quality is of a high quality and works well for art prints as well as photos. The issue I have found is the paper feed is useless. It originally had the odd paper jam report which was never an actual jam, the printer just seemed to be unable to grip the paper. I'm an experienced user and the paper was placed correctly etc. Then there was the odd time when it couldn't cope with printing text on a single sheet and kept pulling through 5 or 6 sheets at the same time and printing parts of the text on all of them! It wasn't really enough cause for me to send it for repair but now I've had it for over 12 months the feed has got worse and worse. Recently it took me 5 sheets of good photographic paper to get two passport sized photos printed. The printer informs you there's a jam and there isn't. Then it just spins as it tries to pull the paper up then tries to blame you with digital accusations of human incompetence. It's only had light use and is now next to unusable as several other reviews have also pointed out. A real pity as it's a great printer in every other respect. It's like having a pair of cashmere socks but with the tops sewn up. Absolutely useless.

2.0 out of 5 stars Pamphlet, 27 Jun 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
As one person above has already mentioned, this is more of a pamphlet than a book. There are about 29 pages including the cover. 5 of the pages are either copyright statements/rights reserved, contents list and a poem. Several of the 'pages' contain just a couple of lines of text. The remaining pages are made up of large pictures and text! The information that is there isn't too bad but could of fitted into half a dozen pages.

1.0 out of 5 stars Junk, 9 Dec 2008

I purchased this kettle directly from Amazon last week. I knew it was a cheap kettle so I wasn't expecting anything amazing but I did expect a safe item. When I poured out the boiling water for the first time the water poured out of the sides at the top where the lid doesn't fit properly. A shoddy, badly made kettle with a very short lead. The filter also falls out easily. I might of been unlucky but I wouldn't waste my time if I were you.

Absolutely.

Buy it or feel foolish for the rest of your life.

Lots of PBF comic strips in paper form that can be stroked and patted until you're sick.

1.0 out of 5 stars Eh?, 18 Jan 2008
I quite like Jamie Oliver so I didn't want to bash him but I'm afraid this deserves it. It does nothing at all. You put a clove of garlic in and shake the thing and open it up to find a...clove of garlic. The worst device ever. I'm actually surprised he put his name to it. Its not cheaply made or a 'bit rubbish', it actually doesnt work at all. It does NOTHING. You might as well put a pea in a panda pop bottle and shake it about.

Purchased this item for my mothers garden. I used it twice following the guidelines to the letter. The motor burnt out on the second use. It was also out of Amazons return period. A complete waste of a hundred pounds.

5.0 out of 5 stars Want to become a cartoonist? Buy this!, 13 Mar 2004
There's not much you can say other than that this is the one book you should buy if you're thinking about becoming a pro. It contains the stuff you need to know, written by someone who shows you the mistakes he made when he began. In the past I've read several 'How to become a cartoonist' type books. THIS book is the one that contains the 'obvious' stuff that all the other books forgot! I instantly found EVERY section USEFUL. It isn't really a book that tries to teach you how to draw. If you're still a bit poo at cartooning you will be better off buying more of How To Draw Cartoons etc type book, but if you think you're nearly there or already there but need some hints, tips and some excellent cartooning common sense you won't find a better. Sections are straight to the point and are not stretched out with guff or long-winded arty-farty prose. It's an easy read and the most useful book on cartooning/illustration I've read.
