After eventually assembling my own bits'n pieces Tele, I thought "just have to wire her up now".....not so easy! Not that it's physically difficult, it's just, the options are almost limitless! This amazing book came to my rescue. Everything you could want is in here, with clear descriptions and illustrations. Also included, for some configurations, are links to webpage sound-bites, so you can get an idea of actual comparisons. A MUST HAVE read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nolan N90 matt black, 23 Sep 2012
I commute into London 5 days a week, in all weather and can highly recommend this helmet.
Twice before, I've gone down the flip-front, tinted visor route and can say that this is the best yet....for me! I'd recommend you try before you buy, as this type of flip-front is for the rounder head. I get very hot on the bike, even in the winter and as a result, can rot a helmet in about 12 months!
Other helmets always promise "excellent ventilation" but this one really does. The 2 adjustable chin vents work well enough but it's the head vents that are different on this helmet to every other I've owned. Coupled with the non adjustable rear exhaust vent, which covers about 75% of the helmet width, you can actually feel the airflow over your head! The inner liner and chin skirt are easily removed and washable. This model comes with the Pinlock anti-fog visor as standard and ensures mist free winter/rain riding. The flip-front can be locked open via the small lever at the left pivot point and the sun visor can be used with the flip, up or down via the slider at the left lower cheek. Also standard on this model is the aperture for Nolan's N-Com bluetooth module (not included) The chin strap is of the micro-securing type, so in the winter, the thickness of a balaclava is easily accepted.
Last but not least, is the double, flip-front opening system. The chin point inner button is pushed away using the thumb, which causes the outside button to pop out. The two buttons are then pinched between index finger and thumb, after which the front can be lifted. This helmet is a 10/10 for me personally and for the money, I can't see me using anything else. Do TRY BEFORE YOU BUY though as I said, this is for the rounder head. Finally, as this is the matt black model, I reckon a little more care in handling will be required. Nolan also make this model with a hard gloss paint finish but it's a little more expensive (20-30)
All round, this is excellent value.

Every time I hear this album, I hear something new!
Upon recently rediscovering "Electric Ladyland", I find many, if not most of the tracks could have been released anytime within the last 40 years! It seems ironic though, that the recording techniques used, to give a sci-fi/modern theme, ie varispeed, tape reversal etc, actually date the tracks on which its used!
This was Jimi's third album and the first to use outside musicians. "Long Hot Summer Night" contains some fantastic piano by Al Kooper, and great backing vocals by Jimi, providing a great gospel vibe to the whole track. Jimi's rhythm guitar absolutely shines. Jack Casady (Jefferson Airplane) provides Bass, and Steve Windwood (Traffic) Organ, to "Voodoo Chile" Mike Finnigan and Buddy Miles provide Organ and Drums to "Rainy Day Dream Away/ Still Raining Still Dreaming. Chris Wood and Dave Mason, both of "Traffic" are also on the album, providing Flute and Guitar. Even Brian Jones (The Rolling Stones) manages to add Percussion to "All Along The Watchtower".
I can very highly recommend this absolute classic. Try it with headphones for a true 60s Experience!!

Many people overlook Peter Green as a "player" due possibly to his health problems back in the day. This disc shows him, pre Fleetwood Mac, as a fine, tasteful player, easily up there with Clapton, Page and Beck. A must for purists for sure. Very highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pyramid Fenda Extenda for ST1100 ABS Pan European, 20 Mar 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This product is an absolute must, and should be included on all bikes. Easily attached by either double-sided tape or 4 self-tapped screws (both included) it protects exhaust downpipes and general lower panels from anything thrown up from the front tire. I'd recommend using both methods of attachment as the tape may not be sufficient on its own. Just clean the rear underside of your front mudguard, position the Extenda with care and fix with the tape. Drill 2 small (1.5mm) pilot holes thru both Extenda and mudguard- taking care not to drill thru the tire, then carefully screw into place....Easy Over time, this could save you money. Be warned. this product is model specific. the non ABS ST1100 requires a different size of Extenda so check first.

This is a fine repair kit. I'm a bit puzzled by the "for Yamaha Bikes" part of the advert, as this product will repair Tubeless tires from any motorcycle. It comes with 2 sets of instructions, the second of which explains the process in a bit more detail. It's compact, sturdy and comes with a zip-up pouch in which to store everything. All in all, a very good repair kit.
