Writing on my wifes profile here.
I have given this game a good month or so now, and to be honest I'm bored out of my head with it. It doesn't seem to matter which car you race in, it never really feels any different, the engine noises all sound the same, so it doesn't matter which car you drive, apart from speed they all seem the same, so its like racing over and over and over again on the same ol boring tracks in the same old boring car. The other racers are crap, they all stick to the same racing line with no variation, I stopped my car in front of another racer and it took around 2 minutes for it to reverse round me and carry on racing thats how bad the A.I is on this game. Also they can smash into you and spin you off, but you will hardly ever spin them off, they just carry on going on their racing line. But because of all this theres no exciting race to the finish, no jossling for position because as they stick religiously to the line you just take them wide.
Its also so easy, by far the easiest GT game I have played yet, if you do lose a race, or come third just tweek the car and you will win next race.
Yes there are lots of cars to choose from, but why would you buy some of them? seriously little cars with under 30 horse power??? and there are far too many japanese cars compared to other countries.
Other dissapointments are the Top Gear track with all its invisible walls and the extremely boring VW camper van race, yes funny to start with, then just annoyingly boring.
And what the hell happened to the Veyron??? What a load of crap they have made that seem.
I tried this game, but now it stands on the shelf gathering dust, its just so repetitive, with a dull selection of cars you can afford, and some thet take far too long to save up for.
