3.0 out of 5 stars disappointing, 3 Mar 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
not as good as some of her books. Lots of padding - with the constant going over events with various people and recounting murders in previous books. Felt the author really has something against Morris dancers! Not much of a plot really. ONE thing that annoys me about all her her books is the way Libby is constantly putting boiled water back on her Rayburn to boil, her tea must be be vile! Fran's "moments" don't seem to appear much in these books and their involment with the police is unrealistic.

excellent creative toy, great for little grand daughter (7) who loves making things with boxes etc. the joints made with make do are much stronger than glue or tape .. the saw tool does a great job through cardboard and is safe.. inspires kids to be creative. easy for little hands to use. great toy!

1.0 out of 5 stars poor plot, 14 Jan 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
very poor plot , guessed murderer way before it was revealed. not much of a story really. one of those books you finish and think 'oh!'
felt very little effort had gone into it on writers part needed at least another three suspects. too obvious.

2.0 out of 5 stars No Miss Marple is she?, 27 Jun 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Found this hard work, odd back story, didn't think it was well written. Libby isn't really much of a detective is she? half way thru book murder gives a huge clue by revealing something he should not have known. I don't know whether the author realises this as she doesn't seem to refer to it later.. only in the last few pages does Libby find out who-dunnit. Not a gripping story. And yes, we get it, two of the characters are gay. No need for the stereotypes and all the 'dear hearts' etc.

3.0 out of 5 stars plot a bit thin, 15 Jun 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I like these books for a gentle read, good for travel etc you do not have to concentrate too hard on them but even so thought the plot was a bit thin in this one... but it was spoilt half way through as I read this book --1st in series-- after others and the other books hold a clue to the mystery in this one. There are problems with spellings and layout which I thought were Kindle errors but I see poster has complained about print version having errors too. still worth buying it though, but read this one first!

4.0 out of 5 stars good entertaining film, good 3d, 18 May 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Liked this film very much, good family viewing, nicely done with good 3D effects. Good storyline and humour. The little Minions are very cute and funny especially on end credits good 3d effects there.
Kids love it. 3d wise is as good as 'Cloudy with chance of meatballs' and 'Alice in Wonderland'.

2.0 out of 5 stars Lame plot,boring and poor 3d, 18 May 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Very disappointed with this film, the plot is quite lame, in fact it becomes quite boring, kids got bored. The 3d is rubbish, so much so I kept checking to see if 3d was on, it was. We watched 'Despicable Me' before this film and 3d is great on that! (Sony Bravia 3d TV)

3.0 out of 5 stars loses the plot a bit, 4 May 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
read the first two and enjoyed them , but he really loses the plot in this one, the whole drawing room/ stately house thing wears very thin and becomes boring. Guessed the murderer way before the denouement. he really should have stopped after the second book.
