just a quick review. very pleased with this. great footage of a truly beautiful and soulful guitar player. looks like a TV special recorded in nov `76, runs for about 30 minutes. good quality 5 tracks. Roy`s Bluz Soul Dressing Sweet Dreams Hey Joe and the Messiah.
there is so little decent footage of Roy it is almost a must have for admirer of electric guitar. some decent close ups of his technique and a faintly embarrassed and self conscious Roy , unassuming , intense, glorious and moving right to the very last delicate note.

My phone certainly feels protected in this. it is built to a very high standard.the phone fits into a hard shell with a rubber surround, it fits well and i am very pleased with it. if i have one criticism it is that once in the case it is hard to pull the upper and lower screens down on the iPhone 5 with a sweep of your fingers, the lower screen activates the torch , wifi etc.the upper the calender.
If the case surround was 2 or 3mm taller for the sceen opening you wouldn't have to dig your finger into the edge of the case a couple of times before you can bring the screen up. if you have bigger fingers you will really struggle. but still a great case

my nearly eight year old was desperate for this for xmas and having read some reviews somewhere was a bit aprehesive about it actually working but no problem it works great just make sure you pack the moulds tightly with the granules. do this by tapping the mould on the plate when filling them up and pushing the granules down with a cocktail stick. the instructions are quite clear and start with the smallest ball first to suss out your method before doing all of it in one go. it does what it says on the box and theres enough for 2 or 3 complete goes.

my nearly 8 year old was deperate for this and reading some of the reviews i was a bit aprehensive but its been great with lots to do and build.
most of the practical tricks are easy enough for him to do and if you dont know how they are done still look quite baffeling for bothers, sisters and older relalives .great for his confidence as well. the instructions could be a bit clearer especially the card tricks at the back of the book, but most of the main tricks are good fun. get it for the best price you can and only do the tricks once per audience and leave them scratching their heads.

i love this book. i bought it 3 times to give to my Les Paul playing friends. it you own a les paul especially a VOS you should buy it. i still want even more detail on the way they are made and possibly the colouring of the lovely full page pics may be a bit suspect but i still find my self looking through it fairly regularly. what i would like now is a book that pictures every know surviving 58-60 Les Paul.
buy it and enjoy the pics as most of us will never own the genunine artical

Having already bought Norton Commmando by Mick Duckworth when it came out a few years ago, but being starved of anything substantial on the Commando since, I took a chance on this one. I was slightly apprehensive that there would be a lot of the same pictures and infomation but I need'nt have worried. This is a great book, plenty of fresh pics and lots of info I didnt know. It is also some 50 pages bigger than the Duckworth book and deals with the authors restortation of a very tatty Commando. Matt Vale also writes for the magazine Real Classic and that warm friendly style comes across. My main problem was trying not to finish reading it too quickly as I was enjoying it so much. Buy boths book and enjoy. Just got to find the money for the real thing.

Not Remastered but still a great sounding album.i have always considered this to be one of the best sounding albums i have ever heard and is in my all time top ten.I adore what is effectivly side two (from African Jive)the guitar playing rocks and i love all the bass lines. A very very underated band. I love the vibe and the good time energy. The music feels full of optimism and the picture of the band sums them up.I listen to this album and feel included, welcomed in to a vibe and culture that is nothing like my own. A very special band. the cd doesnt quite have the warmth and the timing of the original vinyl but a lot more detail.

Hi i had this album on vinyl and it was glorious. i was hoping this 2008 version was going to be a remaster but it isnt. it is a Flashback version and not remastered. this isnt really clear in the blurb and as you can buy a lot of classic albums remastered for a fiver or so took the chance. it still sounds good as its such a good album but not a remaster.********
its no good i had to buy the 24 carat gold remaster and it is sublime. its seems to have the weight, breath, space and three dimentionality (is there such a word)of the origional album. you can even hear some of the busier tracks compress. fantastic. quite immotional in a way because remasters seem to bring out the details you proberly could hear on vinyl as a young teenager before your ears got hammered by drills, guitars, motorhead and shouting children
i found it in the uk on a well known auction site at a very good price. buy the cheap one for the car and the remaster for best at home. if you love this album get the remaster you will not be disapointed
