5.0 out of 5 stars Miracle hair filler, 10 Jun. 2011
My hair dresser recommended this product to me. Just sprinkle sparsely on the thin patchy hair to give it body.I shall use this on my brother's wedding day where I may be the centre of focus. It is not going to help any regrowth or thickening of my hair surely,it is only a cosmetic item for the day.The photographs will at least be permanent!

5.0 out of 5 stars Eye shadow makeup, 10 Jun. 2011
This review is from: Style Eyes (Paperback)
This was a gift for my daughter who is taking a course on Makeup. She found the book very interesting, the pictures are clear, the how-to-do steps are simple to understand. I bought this book on the basis of other reviews on Amazon.co.uk. Thank you for helping to make the right choice among other books on the site.

4.0 out of 5 stars beautiful kibuki brush, 10 Jun. 2011
I loved the mini Kibuki brush,it is soft and smooth. The tiny pots are beautiful but i needed a lid for each pot once they are shaken out for use. It is ideal sample size and cost wise.

4.0 out of 5 stars Scented Soap, 4 Aug. 2009
The pictures of the equipment and ingredients are very interesting with detailed photography of each soap making process for Cream, liquid, bar, bombs and melts.
The Herbs, spices, flowers, essential oils are very well described, including a list of some suppliers in the UK and other countries, though more for craft and hobby. There are other recent specialised suppliers for soap making selling ingredients like potassium hydroxide, for making good liquid soap from scratch.
This book may be daunting for a beginner:some of the ess.oils and base oils are expensive( a list of alternative would have helped). The use of mixer and stick blender, and a Slow-cooker,microwave all latest gadgets are now used to speed up the process. The high temperatures used for mixing soap may not help the mixture trace correctly, maybe an advanced soapmaker would be able to adjust that.
The great recipes in the book, however, cover all basic scent varieties: floral, citrus, herbal, spicy,& woody. The different ingredients and wonderful combination of colours and scents are fabulous.
The price of the book is higher than the original publisher price because it is out of print for now since 2005. I first came across this only book on soapmaking in the Harrow Library which prompted me to look up at Amazon.co.uk at a bargain. Thanks Amazon.co.Uk!
