1.0 out of 5 stars Avoid at all costs, 22 Oct 2008
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This PSP is fundamentally flawed, the screen does not interlace properly, fast moving objects break up and scanlines appear on moving characters in games and films.

This is a step BACKWARDS, not only that, my first one had 8 dead pixels, returned it, got one with 5 dead pixels, returned it now got one with only 2 dead pixels !

Google 'psp 3000 interlace' if you dont believe me and see how many unhappy people there are out there. Sony have said this is a 'feature' that cant be fixed as it is a hardware 'feature'.

No doubt they will release yet another version in the very short future to address the problem, meanwhile leaving us early adopters with a piece of tat. Many american sites are no longer offering this model for sale.

2.0 out of 5 stars Im not snobbish but I am a long time fan, 14 Jan 2008
let me just say this, I am one of the booshes biggest fans, or I was. I even went to see them live (where they were extremely disinterested and Bob Fossil saved the show from being remarkably poor).

Series 3 is awful. There is no two ways about it. The hilarious rap pore between Howard and Vince is gone. Howard moon is now a smiling, happy-go-lucky irritant with nothing amusing to say. Villages made from stationary arent funny. The script has lost everything that made the boosh funny in the first place, namely the seemingly ad-libbed dialogue.

The sets are too flashy and the rehash of old Boosh jokes get tiring.

At the end of the day, this series has gone the way of red dwarf (and more recently the extras christmas special) ie, disappeared up its own arse.

Take my advice, buy the radio series instead, It is vastly superior to this tat.

4.0 out of 5 stars Warning to L&H Collectors, 9 Jan 2008
Just be aware that this is the 'new' version of the boxset. You dont get any of the booklets inside the boxes and the boxes are a cheap black plastic instead of white.

The RRP on this new cheaper set is 99.99 NOT 199.99 as stated on here.

You still get all the films of course but you dont get the info booklets.

Still a bargain if your not bothered about the books.

2.0 out of 5 stars Basic and not very informative, 22 Dec 2007
I dont know which book the person above was reading but I found it to be a very very basic reference book for a select number of films up to 2004. There is one small section which reveals any kind of trivia, the rest of the book is basically a list of films and a short synopsis of the story. Im pretty sure we all know the storyline of Clockwork Orange, Id much rather hear some nuggets of trivia.

As I say, there is a small section devoted to little facts but the book is not particularly well laid out and if your looking for something that is a treasure trove of film information, this isnt the book for you

2.0 out of 5 stars Do NOT buy if you play games, 4 Aug 2006
Don't buy this keyboard and mouse if you play games, I read the reviews and someone said they played call of duty 2 fine with it. they must be lucky because Ive played it and the keyboard is very unresponsive, youll suddenly stop going forward etc, this occurs with other games as well like Half Life 2, even with the receiver right near the keyboard its still no good.

The mouse is nice and works well but of course its no good if the keyboard is useless. For everyday typing etc its fine and quite a nice keyboard, but as i said before, definitely not for gamers
