After reading the synopsis I thought this would be an interesting read.
I was wrong
I found it depressing, repetitive and gave up at 13%

from the first page i was intrigued, ready to know more, wanting to read on and get to the bottom of the missing memory.
The story was well laid out leaving you guessing and wanting answers
I enjoyed this book

An interesting short story, I felt there was a message in the fable that I just failed to see......however still thought provoking

Like the other reviewers - a good tale with a twist.
I wouldn't go so far as to say "un put down-able" but still enjoyable enough to want to read to the end.
My one criticism would be the author constant use of the word "Cathartic" surely
there are other words that you could use ?
Thanks for the entertainment though :-)

4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable read, 2 Jun. 2013

I didnt think i would like this, it seemed a bit gloomy in the first few chapters, but once i got past them i wanted to carry on reading to see what happened next.
And whilst the ending became a little bit predictable it was still an enjoyable read
(even better as I downloaded when it was free :-) )

3.0 out of 5 stars Good short read, 9 April 2013
I've enjoyed this novel and the two very different stories .
I think its more a case of whats not said or written that gets your mind ticking over.
definitely recommended

4.0 out of 5 stars A short but very good read, 31 Mar. 2013
This review is from: Park Road NW1 (Kindle Edition)
I enjoyed the escapism this story gave me and devoured in one sitting.
in a way it reminded me of the film "the notebook " although the storyline is totally different, and like a previous reviewer could definitely see this as a film
4 stars (i very rarely give 5)

Don't You Forget About Me: Pam of Babylon Book #2
Don't You Forget About Me: Pam of Babylon Book #2
Price: £0.99

2.0 out of 5 stars not for me, 7 Mar. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Having enjoyed book 1 (Pam of Babylon) I moved on to book 2 and was very disappointed the the first quarter of the book was a rehash of what had happened in book 1.
The rest of the book didn't inspire or captivate me, the revelations just become more and more unbelievable and I couldn't wait to get it finished just so that I could move onto something better
I dount I will read the rest of the series

I was drawn to this as there appears to be a series of books and I thought this could keep me occupied.
Book one (Pam of Babylon) did just that - plenty of twists and turns and unexpected outcomes.
It was good read, but now having read book two which revisits book one and then adds a bit more to the story Im seriously not going to invest in any more of the
series because its starting to become more and more unbelievable.

My first novel by Cath Staincliffe and i consumed it in one go

I enjoyed the believable storyline, as the twist and turn of events unfold

I couldnt wait for the ending

A very difficult subject to broach in a novel but the writer did a wonderful job
