The first cable had a loose connection and they responded immediately by sending a replacement which works really well. It's so handy to have such a long cord!
Good product, good service. Very happy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked for a MacBook Pro, 12 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
My girlfriend's MacBook Pro hard drive failed and Apple geniuses (I checked and apparently that is an acceptable plural even though personally I am more comfortable with genii) wanted almost £150 to replace it.

I went on the Internet as one does these days and found that a replacement was easy. I bought this hard drive as a replacement.

It worked well, is working well and I hope it will. I also doubled her capacity in the process. All in all, this was a life saver.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good quality GPS unit with excellent customer service., 29 May 2013

I was sceptical at first because it looked too good to be true and normally that means things are. I eventually ordered on a whim and when the unit arrived, I charged in and didn't read the manual. I ended up damaging the SIM carrier and having to send it back.

The supplier in China asked for a tracking number so they could issue the replacement. Unfortunately that one never arrived. I asked them to send another unit but they sent me a full refund instead, quite quickly.

I decided to try again and the unit arived safely this time after about 5 days or so. Not bad.

I put in my O2 SIM card and it worked straight away. I have yet to set a few other parameters such as geofencing but I can check the balance online and the device works in accordance with the manual.

For the price, this is an excellent bit of kit. I am looking forward to having it fully installed in the car and having the peace of mind knowing that the car will have a better chance of being recovered.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what I needed., 20 April 2012

These items are for a US truck (at least in my case they are) and the equivalent products in the US were only really available at around $6 EACH!

This is a great price and indistinguishable from the others on the market. I am very pleased with these.

These were not as cheap as I had hoped but I understand a bit more about them and am very happy with this purchase.

I used them to replace the bulbs in the instrument cluster in my car and am very impressed at the difference they make.

I would definitely buy these again.

One word of caution - they send you a mouse mat with each LED. I ended up with 10 mouse mats!

Merry Christmas!

This is a great little pair of Scotland cuff links. Not much I can say - good value. Highly recommended. Just in time for a disastrous SNP win so I may have to wear them more often. I prefer my Union Jack ones for now but you never know!

5.0 out of 5 stars It works!, 12 May 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
It works on an AT&T iPhone 4 from the US with an O2 PAYG SIM here in the UK. After a few min searching for the video from you tube, I managed to get it to work. The phone was jailbroken but that was no issue.

Considering these were £50 elsewhere, this is a bargain.

Thoroughly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Steering wheel and pulley puller, 8 Mar 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This kit was pretty cheap and I am amazed it was available in the UK.

It comes with lots of fittings but the packaging is flimsy and once you open it you run the risk of losing some of the parts.

There are no instructions either so if this is your first time pulling a wheel or anything then you may scratch your head a bit at first

It's pretty good for what it is really - cheap and relatively comprehensive.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of capability for your money - good bit of technology, 5 Jan 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The box is small and feels light and cheap but for £35 it isn't going to be made of stainless steel and granite.

I had it set up as a relay within 5 min of opening the box, WITH PSK encryption (Pre Shared Key).

Getting it to be a true relay so I could extend the range in the house was a little more tricky but only as I rushed it and made some basic mistakes.

That said, it is pretty easy to setup but the instructions aren't great for the relay. It tells you that you need to have no security on and no anti virus for the auto connect; not much help in this age of scams, viruses, trojans and freeloaders.

So here we go:

Follow the instructions for setting up an Access Point.

1. Plug in the ethernet cable to the router AND the Belkin5g module. (as per instructions)
2. In the setup programme when it says set AP, don't. Set it as UR (Universal Relay)

Now click on the web edit box in the Utility you have been using so far.

3. In Wireless - Basic, set the SSID to be similar to your own wireless network (This is optional, just makes it easy to identify your relay network - I called mine "xxx - relay")
4. You have to make sure that the Origin network id is entered. If your network (that you are extending) is called XXX then you must enter this exactly in the field for setup so the relay knows where to look. Apply this so the router saves.
5. You will also need to set up the security settings - go to wiress-> security and choose the same PSK as your original router. I think you can get away with this but I have done so for ease. Apply and save.
6. Go to system settings and choose a password for the relay itself. As you can access it wirelessly you need to make it secure so no-one can edit it while you aren't looking!

I guess that may seem a bit complicated but it really isn't that bad. I had Norton 360 up and running and forgot to turn the firewall off which caused a little hiccup but after Norton recognises it you'll be fine.

I hope this is of some use in setting up a network.

The result is that I can now work in the garage and have almost doubled the range of the network in the house.

This is a good product.
