5.0 out of 5 stars Cockney KIds, 13 May 2007
This review is from: Cockney Reject (Hardcover)
The Rejects were the real deal and Garry Bushell has put that fact in print.

This is a fantastic read and deserves to be a best seller.

I love this band and my only regret is that they never recorded `Suburban Rebels` - the Garry Johnson Punk anthem - his lyrics - there attitude - and we were talking HIT RECORD...but I am sure they will top the charts with his `Fathers 4 Justice` and I cant wait to hear their soundtrack to the gangster flick `Till Death Us Do Part`.

This book would make a great movie with up-and-coming actor Sam Johnson in the lead role...

A great read for former punks - football fans and `Jack the Lads` everywhere.

5.0 out of 5 stars SEXY STUFF, 13 May 2007
Lara Clifton has come a long way from her `look at East London strippers` in here debut book and video `Striptease and Baby Oil! and this film proves that the sexy lady will soon be a household name and international sex symbol.

This book is like a sexy version of Last Tango and Dirty Dancing and the perfect movie for a romantic night in with plenty of Southern Comfort for dutch courage.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rod Always Deliver, 13 May 2007
Rod Stewart - ladies man - boozer - JACK THE LAD - but also a brilliant singer.

His songs remind me of football - wild parties - and falling in love with my wife.

His songs were the soundtrack of our romance - marraige - and sadly divorce...

One song will always be playing in my head "Your In My Heart - Your In My Soul"

Rod the mod - I will always be a fan...

Joan Collins is the QUEEN of adult humour and erotic fiction.

This naughty novel is her best so far with more twists and turns than the M25 motorway.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Ace Face, 12 May 2007
Rod Stewart is along with my ex-wife and three kids the LOVE OF MY LIFE.

I love his music - his haircut and his swagger.

Rod is my mirror image - he loves rock - football - and blondes - this book is a fitting tribute to a living legend...

3.0 out of 5 stars Punk dads, 12 May 2007
This is not as funny as I hoped - but it does have its moments.

Very similar to MY Family and The Simpsons - but the dad is this is no match for Homer.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Funny, 11 May 2007
A so-called friend gave me this book and I was not amused by the gift or the jokes included in this book.

How can you make fun of the Iron Lady?

Without Maggie - this country would be part of the Soviet Bloc - that is not FUNNY and neither is this book.

Now a joke book about Blair will be top of my Christmas List...

5.0 out of 5 stars BRILLIANT AND MORE, 11 May 2007
This book is funnier than a bus load of comedians and the best book I have read in a decade - apart from TILL DEATH US DO PART by Garry Jackson.

Mr Courtney is the best story-teller since Charles Dickens and this book would make a fantastic film.

I can just see Ray Winstone as Dodgy Dave.

I have met Mr Courtney and believe me he is one of the GOOD GUYS - this book is a five star thriller.

5.0 out of 5 stars Blonde Perfection, 11 May 2007
A brilliant read and fantastic pictures. Debbie Harry is the sexiest blonde to ever walk on GODS EARTH.

Blondie her band was under-rated at the time - but her music like her attraction is timeless.
