Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Triage (Audio CD)
Selected the CD because heard a track on a film I was watching; enjoyed that and 2 other tracks. Disliked the fact that each track seems to feature a different "noise" effect. Second hand - and was in excellent condition.

Service was reasonable, but took much longer to arrive than normal Amazon orders.

5.0 out of 5 stars New Leadbelly fan, 19 Jan 2010

Excellent collection to introduce someone to this artist. I'd heard a little of his work on the radio and knew some of the songs through more contemporary cover versions, but this collection brought the artist to life. Good sound quality. Real quality early folk / blues music.

1.0 out of 5 stars What a disappointment!, 19 Jan 2010
Real Ray Charles fan, bought this disc with Ray's "The Spirit of Christmas". Very disappointed in purchase; this disc contains 2 tracks which are virtually Ray free. Played once, probably won't play again!
Had to give this a one star rating, to get the review to save, but it was against my better judgement.

3.0 out of 5 stars RAY FAN, 19 Jan 2010
This review is from: The Spirit Of Christmas (Audio CD)
Reasonable Christmas selection, enjoyed because I'm a Ray Charles fan. Bought, having heard "Winter Wonderland" on a film soundtrack. Addition of bonus track "Baby it's Cold Outside" seems a little pointless, since it's on so many other discs. Seriously doubt it's appeal to none Ray fans.
