Ultimate X-Men Volume 1: Tomorrow People TPB: Tomorrow People v. 1 (Graphic Novel Pb)

5.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable, well drawn, a great all round introduction to the X Men, 11 Nov. 2013

I can't speak for experienced comic readers but I would definitely recommend this to new readers of Marvel/X Men. Ultimate X Men starts from the top, Xavier's recruitment process of a very young team of very famous X Men. My biggest criticism, which is a small one, is some of the wise-cracking in the writing. Outside of that, I enjoyed the hell out of the Tomorrow People. Nice introduction to characters like Wolverine and Cyclops and others, and Magneto and Xavier remain effortlessly cool and engrossing. I'll be reading on from here!

5.0 out of 5 stars A perfect beginning, 5 Nov. 2013

As a new Batman reader, I was pretty lost when trying to decide where to start and what to read. Huge comic icons like Batman, Spiderman Superman; there are an outrageous amount of comics and arcs and rebirths. Batman Year One appeared to be the definitive modern origin story and place to start, and it didn't disappoint. The writing was brilliant and thematically the story was exactly what I was hoping for. Suffice to say, I've just ordered the next two big titles which followed Year One!

Undoubtedly the best superhero films of all time, Dark Knight Rises represents the culmination of a cinematic masterpiece. Though it could never hope to live up to the outrageously high standards of The Dark Knight (and of Heath Ledger), it's one of the best films of the year and one of the best action adventure films around.
