5.0 out of 5 stars Better than GTA!, 24 Jun 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Watch Dogs (PS4) (Video Game)
This is probably the best spy game ever. The graphics are awesome and the gameplay even better. Finished the game within 3 weeks of purchase (maybe 6hrs of gameplay). Coming off the GTA games, I was worried that Watch_Dogs might be a knock-off copy. However, it turns out to be better than expected. The story, for the first time IMHO, is truly engaging and makes you want to complete each stage with a sense of urgency. Some of the missions do become repetitive but the final impression is positive.

No regrets with this purchase. Highly recommended.

1.0 out of 5 stars Rubbish!, 27 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Returned these as the quality seemed cheap. Tried on one foot and there was way too much space around the ankles. Should have read other reviews before hand.

Will now be buying the Agile product as they seem to have a better quality albeit more expensive.

May as well buy a good pair or wellingtons, which will last a good time (particularly more so as I'm always getting mucky in Yorkshire!).

5.0 out of 5 stars It works!, 27 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Ordered two of these, one for upstairs and the other downstairs. Wiring was straight forward, although the backplate was fragile (plastic) and the hinges broke off. Contacted Nest and ended up speaking to a chap in the US, who sent out a replacement backplate without too much difficulty.

Both the smoke / carbon monoxide alarms look modern and the voice communication feedback means that I know exactly what is going on (no more chirping noises in the middle of the night).

The alarms sync up with each other and I now get to see everything via my iPhone (including messages of low batteries etc).

Good product and great support from Nest.

Looking forward to the thermostat now.

2.0 out of 5 stars Exceptional until you get the 0XC6FD0413 error code!, 15 Oct 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Ordered this product more than 2 months ago and found that the price fluctuated more than 50%, which was disappointing as I kept feeling ripped off.

However, my first impressions of the HP Officejet Pro X476dw are good. The machine was bought to replace an 8 year old HP Photosmart 8600, which was beginning to die as the cogs were breaking from over-use. The HP Officejet Pro X476dw is HUGE and HEAVY, especially when compared to my old multi-functional printer. Make sure that you have enough space to place the item as it is likely to be the biggest item in the room.

I have used HP Officejet Pro X476dw for approximately one week now and have found that the printer does have a fast output (after the wait on the first page). The fax machine has still yet to be used. The photocopier is on par with most other machines, while the flatbed scanner is slightly faster than my old printer. The document feeder is REALLY fast, meaning that with the duplex feature, you will save plenty of time digitising folders should you want a paperless office (like me). The feeder does also only take one piece of paper at a time, unlike my old printer which found it fit to take multiple paper sheets at a time (this means that you are likely to have more productivity rather wasting time to ensure that only one is going through at a time). The side paper tray "catcher / holder" is a bit flimsy (it does easily come off) and is likely to be the first thing to break (subject to all the other parts working as intended).

Set up was easy enough (make sure that you are connected to your network before printing off your product code). The ePrint feature works as expected.

I am slightly concerned about the ink cost (which should apparently work out 50% less) but only time will tell.

The unit has two paper trays, which can be useful if you use letterheads or different coloured paper. My daughter has already navigated her way through the menu to download and print game / puzzle activities (cut-out masks etc). The wireless printing feature is also a welcomed feature.

P.S. Should anyone want to add the additional Printer Paper Tray (Optional), the product code is CN461A (not currently listed on the Amazon site).

UPDATE: 09.09.2014

After 12 months, I began to notice that the product began to crash frequently with flashing lights, which can only be reset by turning the 'on' / 'off' button. Not good if you regularly expect faxes when away. Unfortunately, the entire machine died after displaying the '0XC6FD0413' error code, which prevented me from doing anything. This meant spending a day researching the issue, cleaning the printheads... all to no avail. In the end, I had to contact HP to offer a replacement as it was a hardware fault (after 12 months!). Had this been out of warranty, this could have been expensive! I had to use my 10 year old printer, which saved me in the interim.

I would now be somewhat cautious before buying this item as it may not last as long as expected.

1.0 out of 5 stars Spitting Water!, 23 Dec 2012
What a piece of s***! Bought this at Currys for £199.99 when it was available for halve this at Amazon. Turned the 'boiler' button on and waited for the steam light to show up. Within five minutes, the ceramic plate began to spit out water all over the towel (never use any important items on the first try). Primed the damn thing and followed the instructions outright. Spent a couple of hours to get it to work... but could not stop the spitting water.

Returned it and bought a Bosch Sensixx B45L and got it working in less than five minutes and much happier as it actually irons clothes as stated. Don't even have to buy any filters / accessories either.

I bought this for my little girl last year and found it to be extremely engaging each day. My 2yr old daughter loves to draw funny shapes and seems to be getting better each day.

I would recommend this for any parent who enjoys spending time being creative with their young one.

Cool... can't recommend it enough. You gotta buy this item. Buy it now. Buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars IN A NUTSHELL!!!, 1 Jun 2007
This is one of the better examples of a comeback in recent times.

It is a sleeper hit that has muted most critics out there. The plot is fully engaging with the four turtles showing some real character depth and real problems moving on.

The immortality element was unexpected but worked well with the talented Patrick Stewart at the helm.

The CGI is amazing, especially during the fight between two turtles.

The film as a whole shows heart, which in turn, makes the characters that much more endearing.
