I'd never heard of this band before hearing "Emergency" on Planet Rock, immediately bought the whole album and I wasn't disappointed, a cross between AC/DC and the Darkness, you can't get much better!

AMAZON please take down the decidedly biased and frankly awful BBC review and put up the Guardian review. It is a neutral and well-written article from someone who sounds like they know the business of Rock and isn't a Radio 1 junkie!

In a time where we all need some fun, the Darkness provide it in truckloads. Great guitar riffs, fantastic lyrics and Justin's singing to add some harmony. I can't see anything wrong with what should be described as the comeback of the year!

Anybody that hates the Darkness or dismisses them as a joke should listen to 'Everybody have a good time' and I defy you not to smile and be humming it all day afterwards.

Finally the most tradgic thing about this all is that we are shelling out to keep Paul Whitelaw in a job he clearly doesn't want or else he would put in a bit more effort to at least listen to the albums he's reviewing...............shame.
