5.0 out of 5 stars A revolution in the understanding of Genesis 1., 1 Jan 2011
The book shows how the people during Moses time would have understood Genesis one, and it is nothing like the way young earth creationists do.
Great book, to bad it doesn't contain Genesis chapter two.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book that describes what genesis is really about!, 1 Jan 2011
If you truly want to understand Genesis and what it says, than this is the book for you.
Mr Tinker describes, in a beautiful way, the meaning of Genesis and how it always points to Jesus.
Read it and leave all this creation debate aside, this book tells you want God wants you to know.

2.0 out of 5 stars There are better books on the subject, 1 Jan 2011
As I said, there are better books on the subject.
For example Denis Alexanders "Creation or Evolution - do we have to choose?"
This book doesn't contain much information and can work well as a introduction.

1.0 out of 5 stars Really really bad!, 1 Jan 2011
Awful book!
Doesn't defend anything, only discusses some points here and there without going anywhere!
Uses one chapter to defend Islam!
A big disappointment!
If you want an amateur writing his thoughts without any sound argument, Markham is you're guy.
If you want the real thing, go to William Lane Graig or Timothy Keller or Norman Geisler.

5.0 out of 5 stars Waooo!!!, 1 Jan 2011
I can't believe how good this book was, way over my expectations!
If you truly think you understand the extreme beauty of Jesus parable "the prodigal son" than you are wrong and need to read this book.
