Does anything ever not work out for these people?, 30 May 2013
You know how, in any Hollywood film ever, there's always about an hour where everything goes just fine; then suddenly things go wrong (couple have crisis, hero gets captured, some misunderstanding may cause havoc, etc)?
Not here. Everything just goes SO well. The Heroes of The Corporation can do no wrong, no wrong whatsoever. They land perfectly, they fly perfectly, they judge shooting distances perfectly... "He judged it perfectly"..."they jumped without a moment's hesitation"..."he didn't care that he could die in this situation"
No tension whatsoever. The first half was kind of interesting, but the second half is just end-to-end "Max perfectly judged the distance of the AK47's range" and so on and so on. Smug, tedious detail and I just don't care. Shame, because the basic story is good. Just ruined by the story-telling :-(
