It made me cry on the train. It's so lovely, you just get filled with such raw hope that ... Pleasepleaseplease read it. Great value on Kindlestore and even if like me you don't believe in God and angels and stuff, it's just totally lovely. By the way, each and every one of you are beautiful people. Just so you know. I don't know you, no, but I know you are. And you should too. xx

4.0 out of 5 stars A truly poignant and heart-warming read..., 24 Feb. 2012
... that deals with sexuality and love in an open and engaging manner (and not just in the raunchy bits). Definitely worth a read, even if like me you have yet to read the first! :)
Made my heart ache at bits, the rawness and authenticity of the two guys' love for each other. Enlightening, but by no means a challenging read, never wanted it to end. Brilliant final sentence (always vital). See ya! :D

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly Original, 2 Nov. 2011
A really fascinating novel wherein society is divided into 5 "factions" or rigid groups. There is Abnegation, which values selflessness; Amity, which values peace; Candor, which sees honesty as the way war is avoided; Erudite, who seek knowledge and enhanced intelligence, viewing ignorance as the primary cause of conflict; and Dauntless, who teach initiates to conquer fear and to be brave. But, as the novel shows, in the end people will find a way to pollute the uneasy peace that they have created. A fantastic novel which introduces many huge ideas; why is there a fence surrounding the entire city? Why do the Erudite release lies about the selfless Abnegation to destabilise their government position?
If you don't believe me, know this; I've taken the time to write this review. It gets you thinking. Not just for young people - an easy read and a thrilling ride for almost anyone. Few gory bits; not for wee kids! Hope you enjoy :) Peace & Light x

Absolutely incredible book, not just in the original style of the writing or the incredible story told; but in the fact that everyone can learn something from reading it. So much more to this than most other novels, a real masterpiece by an author who empathies really brilliantly with a teenage girl. Read it.
