Finally an honest account of the life of Bonzo, 28 April 2005
A fascinating account of the life of Led Zeppelin's powerhouse drummer.
Written by John's younger brother Michael and finished by His younger sister Deborah.
This book details the early years of John Bonhams journey through a short but full life. school, music, playing in various bands around the midlands area. The struggles etc. It ends all the rumours and the myths behind the drummer and gives you a personal feel to the man off stage, away from the bright lights of the concert halls and stadiums and reveals a man, driven by a passion and longing to, not only play his kit, but to have some normality and a home life, which many of us take for granted.
A beautifully written book, with lots of laughs and moments of love and tragedy. and some great quotes and memories from some of musics most respected artists and entertainers. This book, won't disappoint, for the hardened fan this is a must, for the casual reader, a great book to add to your collection, a good read and not an easy book to put down.
