This is the first Hillsong CD I've ever bought and I haven't been disappointed, in fact I'm elated, every time I listen to this amazing album I'm swept away into the presence of God and His Kingdom here on Earth, the sound is awsome and I find myself listening to it at every opportunity, it's the best Christian album I've ever heard

Excellent well presented book, "Wired for intimacy" is a vital, ground breaking thorough piece of work, offering the reader a scientific explanation of how pornography impacts the human brain. People are hard-wired for intimacy and relationships but in a society saturated with pornography with very few restrictions or censorship, relationships and families are breaking down as increasing numbers of men and women succumb to the addictive nature of pornography. Men in particular need to understand how their sexual choices affect their brains and their relationships and crucially their humanity.Countless men struggle with the addictive power of porn. Neuroscientist and researcher William Struthers explains that because we are embodied beings viewing sexual images changes how the brain works. By better understanding the biological realities of our sexual development we can cultivate healthier sexual perspectives and interpersonal relationships which will benefit the individual and will ultimately benefit society. This book should become more widely available in senior schools to equip young men (and women) at an early age with sound information on the impact porn has on the human brain so that they have an informed choice before addiction becomes the severe problem it is for countless users.

WHAT GOD REALLY THINKS ABOUT WOMEN BIBLE
WHAT GOD REALLY THINKS ABOUT WOMEN BIBLE
by Sharon Jaynes
Edition: Paperback
Price: 5.31

5.0 out of 5 stars Very informative and challenging study book, 16 Dec 2010
This Bible study guide offers a progressive, up to date Biblical insight of the women that Jesus interacted with during His Earthly walk with them. Without the male bias Sharon Jaynes takes us deeper into the lives of these female image bearers and opens our eyes wider to see how the presence of Christ brought them change, release and healing. Some of the women studied include Mary Magdalene, the Samaritan woman and Mary Mother of Christ. This in depth Bible study follows on from Jaynes book "What God really thinks about women" which begins at the very beginning in the book of Genesis, where she shows us that much of today's problems with equality stem from "the curse" that we can read about in Genesis 3:16 Through this study Jaynes continues to help us to see more clearly how womens' lives were changed when Jesus Christ stepped in, He gave them back their true identities as originally intended by their Creator,He taught them, healed them and led them from disgraced to full of grace, from chronically ill to completely whole and from insignificant to highly esteemed. This study book should help the reader to focus on the work of Christ from a woman's view point, through the careful guidance of Sharon Jaynes this Bible study shows us that the work began by Jesus Christ continues to this day to bring women out from under the "curse", out of the shadows of oppression to walk in the Light of freedom and equality that was originally intended for them.

WHAT GOD REALLY THINKS ABOUT WOMEN
WHAT GOD REALLY THINKS ABOUT WOMEN
by Sharon Jaynes
Edition: Paperback
Price: 8.38

5.0 out of 5 stars Very informative and Life changing book, 16 Dec 2010
This book should be read by all men as well as women, and not just Christian ones because it offers progressive, up to date Biblical interpretations of womens' and mens' roles as originally intended by their Maker. It leads the reader through the roads of history that have led us to the present time, it begins at the very beginning in the book of Genesis. With obvious thorough and careful study Sharon Jaynes shows us how our present day Bibles have been interpreted with a bias, key passages regarding men and women have been thoroughly investigated,to reveal that they have been interpreted with a male slant reflecting the male supremacy of the times. The author explains this slant originated from the time of the "curse" see Genesis 3:16 "Your desire will be for your husband and he will rule over you" At the time when Paul wrote instructions to wives and husbands see Ephesians 5:22-24 "Wives submit to your husbands as to The Lord, for the husband is head of the wife ....."wives should submit to their husbands in everything" women were regarded as second class humans with many restrictions imposed on them by men. They were prevented from having the same freedom that men allowed for themselves. Jaynes gives us the true meaning of "Helpmeet"(Genesis 2:18) she explains that far from a woman being created to be a subservient helper, her name Ezer is derived from the Hebrew word used of God and the Holy Spirit. An Ezer is in no way inferior to the one who receives help. According to God's design men and women, husbands and wives are designed to stand together as equals in God's sight, neither is to dominate the other. God is the authority over both. Jaynes helps us to see women from the way Jesus Christ interacted with the ones from the Bible when He stepped into their lives He gave them back their true identities as originally intended by their Creator, from insignificant to highly esteemed, from disgraced to full of grace from chronically ill to completely whole. The reader is helped to see that the work began by Jesus Christ continues today to bring women out from under the "curse", out of oppression to walk in the freedom and equality that was originally intended for them.
