5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant coat for exercising at night time, in winter!, 23 Oct. 2010
Brough my coat a few weeks ago, the lime green one so motorists could easily see me, although there are no high visibility strips, the colour sharpness makes up for it.
there are many internal and external zipped pockets for you to stick all your necessary items into, the sleeves have thumb loops at the end, so you can create a seamless join with your gloves that won't let the cold air creep it's way in when exercising.
The waterproofing of this coat is very good, it can't withstand very heavy rain for prolonged period of time, but it is impressive for the price.
The wind protection factor is even more impressive, even gale force winds don't affect it, wind chill affecting your exercise is not a problem when wearing one of these coats.
When wearing one of these jacket, I recommend wearing a long sleeved thin t-shirt, because unless the temperature is below freezing, the jacket will keep you very warm, and your arms will sweat a lot, making the coat difficult to remove after a session.
It is worth mentioning that there are zipped vents at the back, which do make a small difference, they kept to keep you back cool, but not by much.
Good build quality, great comfort, excellent windproofing ang good waterproofing make it a very good coat for cyclists in there colder weather periods.
Oh, having crashed whilst wearing one of these, it does offer protection, against road rash and impacts.

4.0 out of 5 stars excellent shorts for cycling., 23 Oct. 2010
Brought my shorts a few months ago, very good performance shorts for cycling.
The build quality of them is very good, apart form the logo fading slightly, they have survived many washing machine cycles.
They are durable too, you don't slide off your seat when applying some power, the inner lining is elasticated so they don't ride up too much when riding.
Apart from the lack of any pockets, they are excellent for there intended job.

4.0 out of 5 stars excellent trousers for everyday exercise., 23 Oct. 2010
Brought my pair a few months ago, and the build quality of them is impressive, apart from the silver side logos fading after a few washing machine cycles, they have not worn too mcuh or started to fall apart.
Mine are used frequency when cycling 20 miles at night time, you don't slide off the seat like a fool, the vented sections at the rear lower calf prevent you from overheating as well.
There is also a small zipped pocket at the back, suitable for a house key or a small music player, but nothing else.
The waterproofing factor is limited, they can withstand light showers, but anything more than that, you will get wet, but they do dry out quickly when it is not raining, these trousers main strength is windproofing, they perform very well in stopping wind chill from reducing your body temperature.
I can not comment on there performance when running or jogging, but for cycling they are just what you need if you are a keen cyclist, these teamed with the same brand shorts for daytime / better weather riding gives you a good and affordable leg protection for weather and temperatures, good and bad.

4.0 out of 5 stars A very good DVD for novices and professionals., 7 Dec. 2009
This hour long DVD is very good for people interested in the subject of PAT testing, the layout is good, the information is clear, and certain information is included that you can miss in the IEE code of practice, highly recommended.
Sometimes looking at pictures simply isn't enough, a live demonstration can be easier to remember!

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of money, don't bother buying this book!, 7 Dec. 2009
If you have a copy of The IEE code of practice for In-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment (3rd edition), this book is completely useless, there is very little or nothing new discuseed that is not in the book above, save your money, if you do want a book on PAT testing, get the IEE code of practice, it's all you'll need!

4.0 out of 5 stars A very handy book to keep you out of legal trouble!, 8 Oct. 2009
For anyone whom is currently studying to become a domestic electrician, it is often said that the 17th edition regulations, the on-site guide is your bible.
This book is one I would recommend, as a very handy book to keep you out of the legal poo!
Due to the fact that you have to also adhere to other building regualtions whilst working, it is worth while learning what those regulations are, because believe me, you will be asked!
It covers the regulations you need to know without having to read your way though several lengthy government documents!
Not an essential book, but certainly a book you should consider!

5.0 out of 5 stars An essential book for any electrician!, 8 Oct. 2009
Having spent the last week reading this book, I can honestly say that it is the most helpful book I have purchased to date!
Just as the title suggests, it covers domestic wiring, which is what I intend to do for a living next year.
The information is very clear, easy to follow, and full of practical advice!
If your sick of trying to read your way though the IEE 17th edition regulations for the countless time, get this, it will make a big difference!

3.0 out of 5 stars good, but lacks features and not the original 1985 release!, 4 April 2008
Hello, I do own this DVD, and for the money I paid to get it, felt let down!
First, the transfer from tape to DVD is okay, but could have been better, there are no special features on any of the DVD's.
Second, from what I have been told, the version on these DVD's I own is an edited version, bear with me, My mother watch the original, when I was only 2 years old, and she says when they repeated in the early ninties, they edited a fair amount out, and that is the version I have purchased, the early nineties version, not the original mid eighties version.
So if you own this and feel something is missing, your probably right.
Overall a Good comedy from the BBC, but poor transfer to DVD, limits my rating to 3!

3.0 out of 5 stars good film, but lousy dubbing, and no extras, 4 April 2008
This review is from: Stalingrad [DVD] [1994] (DVD)
The outlay of this film is in fairness, very good, for those whom have little knowledge about the german and russian battle of starlingrad, this is an eye opener, it gritty and feels realisle!
The film is very good, the transfer to DVD is the real let down!
Very bad audio dubbing, similar to lots of japanese films, the acting is not as good as Das Boot, but still beleiveable, there are no features on the DVD, period.
If they sorted out the Audio Dubbing and the special features content, this would get five stars easily, but as it is it only get 3!

4.0 out of 5 stars Basic, cheap, but functional!, 27 Nov. 2007
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
The core system is exactly what it is, a core system, enough to get you going, you have to bear in mind that the hardware is very expensive stuff, and they have to fight against sony and the ever plucky nintendo, if you just want to play games, it will do!
Admittedly, they could throw in a memory card, the 64mb one are not much good if you intend to play forza 2, 256mb should cover you nicely
