I bought these as my first pair of XC shoes and they do a very very good job compared to a road running shoe.
However,if you compare them to any well known brands, they are heavy.... but cheap.
A great 'first trail running shoe' would be a good summary.

This case will do the job for you, but, there is no protection on the corners if the ipad is dropped..... Kind of an adults only case :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect training partner, 8 May 2012

I have bought a Garmin 310xt after spending the last few months using my brother-in-laws Garmin 305.
I'm doing the Liverpool Triathlon and Liverpool Marathon this year and the watch has been faultless in training so far.

The initial set-up was quite straight forward, and fitting the quick-release bike mount kit really easy.
Battery life is 3 to 4 x better than than the 305, and it picks up the HRM and satellites quicker too.

The Garmin Connect website and ANT+ is easy to use, and if you like analysing your run / bike data, then you can spend hours on it.
My only concern with the data on the site is that potential bike thieves can see where you live / keep your bikes if you start your session outside your house!

Some might say the watch becomes a little cumbersome with the QR fitted, but I fitted mine from new so it has always been that way and I'm used to it now.

Yet to use the 'virtual training partner', but I can see that also being very useful!
