Roger's War (Mammoth Read)
Roger's War (Mammoth Read)
by Robert Swindells
Edition: Paperback

2.0 out of 5 stars Sam's Struggle, 24 Jun. 2008
I didn't think this book was good. It was boring - you could tell what was going to happen - and childish. I think it was probably for people who are younger than me - maybe about age 9-10. If you are that age and you like a book that is not particularly dramatic or violent it might suit you.

2.0 out of 5 stars How to fall asleep completely and never wake up..., 24 Jun. 2008
I Thought This Book Was Quite Boring And The Chapters Changed Too Quick. The Chapters Did Not Make Sense To Others Before. I Would Recomend This Book To people That Like To Be Bored.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Suitcase Kid, 24 Jun. 2008
This review is from: The Suitcase Kid (Paperback)
This is a book i just picked up so i had a book to read. At first i thought i would read the first chapter and then get bored, fidget and dump the book! But...
I loved it Andy is such an adventurous kid. She compares her life to as easy as A,B,C... It is brillant explaining it this way as it makes it much easier to read as you know what the chapter is about like A is for Andy. Andy is a child whos parents have split up and she is telling how her life is with evil step families. Sometimes when she is talking it suddenly changes subject which is a little comfusing but that is the only down side i had. I fgreatly recomend this book to all kid that love to hear stories of other children. And some adults ma enjoy this...
Nick Sharratt is such a great illustrator it really made me see what the charactors looked like. Overall Jacpueline Wilson's suitcase kid was amazing

Escape from Skull Island (King Kong (Children's))

3.0 out of 5 stars King Kong Review, 24 Jun. 2008
So far, i am reading King Kong escape from Skull Island and i am finding it alright but i prefer the film by miles
-1- It is not too quick and not too short.
-2- It has more scary and unexpecting thing happen in it.
I will recomend this book to people who like action and shooting.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's OK i'm wering really big Kickers, 24 Jun. 2008
I have been reading a book called "It's OKi'm wearing really big knickers" by Louise Rennison. I thought the book was amaing because the book was soooooo funny. The main charecter is called Gorgia Nicolson wich I think is funny because that is the same surname as me. The book is sort of based on a real life 14 year old girl trying to get a boyfriend.

I recomed this book 2 people how would like to read a funny book or a book based on real life.

I thoughtthat this book had way to much talking and that the front cover is nothing of what you think it is.I could not tell the difference between which charater and when they where talking.Over all I thought that the book had no story what so ever and really would not advice it for people who do not like action storys

This review is from: The Dogs (Paperback)
I think The Dogs is a really good book because it's a scary one and thats the kind of books i enjoy its sad aswell as scary and thats another type of thing in a book i like aswell, i usually cry at sad books, but i didnt for this one. It didnt have a happy ending and it finished suddenly, i like books that finish happy and you're expecting it to finish but still i enjoyed this one alot.

I think the book was great at the start but as i got into it, it became less interesting and more fairytale. i would sugest this book to someone that likes magical worlds.
