1.0 out of 5 stars Why not fit a red LED?, 23 April 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
It's Day 2 since the kit arrived, the Kindle Touch and its black leather front-lit cover.
Doesn't have a Connolly leather feel, my VW seats are more like it. Tight fit, getting the reader into the cover but it's secure and unlikely to fall out. I agree with other critical reviews because the lid doesn't lie closed. How difficult is it to have a magnetic closure as many have suggested or why not a touch of Velcro on the corners?
Reading at night has a subordinate issue: not to disturb those you sleep with. My wife is a light sleeper and white light from previous LED book illuminators have woken her. Recently, I bought a lightweight headtorch by Petzl with a red LED option and BINGO! peaceful sleep for herself. Great!!
So why not have a similar thing for the Kindle? It's really important and they've missed it.
Therefore, not worth £50 so I think I'll send it back....
