Monopoly Electronic Banking Edition (London UK)

5.0 out of 5 stars Electronic Monopoly, 3 Dec. 2011

Love this product! I think it's really clever the way it has been updated - player credit cards instead of cash, airports instead of railway stations, Internet and mobile phone utilities instead of gas and waterworks, etc. prices have been inflated and streets brought into line with more recent developments. The game itself is basically the same, so if you love Monopoly, you'll love this.

To speed things up, we've invented the 'bogie number' after all the properties have been sold. Anyone shaking an 11 is forced to sell a property to another player to spice things up!

4.0 out of 5 stars To Play the King - Michael Dobbs, 7 Oct. 2009
Book arrived after about 6 days - I thought it would come more quickly. It was in the described condition (second hand - good) and even came with a dedication from the author, which was a bonus!

The trilogy is excellent - each one of the three books has a different style and setting, but has its main character running throughout (Francis Urquhart).

Others have written more detailed plot synopses, so I won't repeat them here. Fans of the TV series will enjoy the books - although there are some differences.

Well worth reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dinky little travel journal!, 26 July 2009
This little book is excellent for its purpose - it is small, portable and attractive. The magnetic closure means it keeps tidy and the pages are numerous, allowing for plenty of travel writing. Well worth the money in whatever currency!
