5.0 out of 5 stars It's good to have it, 26 April 2011
This book opens a whole chest of treasure for those, who use Robin Wood Tarot deck. Although you can be very succesful with this deck without reading companion book (for those who are familiar with Raider-Waite symbolism this deck is intuitive), having read this book doubles your connection with the cards. There is a lot of significant details hidden in the images and it is simply comfy to know them (although you don't necessary need them for reading). And the very reading is very pleasant (the book is well written), which also matters.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning, 26 April 2011
The artwork of the deck is stunning. The colours are vivid (a lot of juicy green!), people's faces have expressions, the symbolism is readeable for everyone familiar with Raider-Waite's conception (except from a few cards, which are explained in the companion book). The cards are much bigger than usually, which is double-edged: nice to look at the cards, difficult to shuffle them. As to me, I don't mind to put some more time and effort into shuffling because the look of a spread is so rewarding!
The companion book is very helpful, a lot of information. Major arcana are more detailed, minors are clubbed by numbers rather than by suits, which is also convenient, especially for those who connect numerology with tarot. I would recommend this deck wholeheartedly.

Ls Gay Tarot [Tarot Cards only]
Ls Gay Tarot [Tarot Cards only]

Edition: Cards
Price: 13.40

5.0 out of 5 stars I like it, 26 April 2011
I like this deck for two reasons: first one is that I enjoy the art of Antonella Platano. The second one is that some renditions of the archetypes are totally new and fresh and in many cases this deck works as an eye-opener. Because of the theme this deck can give you more universal and all-catching perspective on seemingly clear issues. And besides it's great for everyone who wants to escape from the immanent Raider-Waite's symbolism.

5.0 out of 5 stars brilliant, 20 April 2011
Barbara Moore great as always. She is the ultimate master of setting out complicated things in a way, that they seem to be suprisingly simple. And she's witty. So a lot of eureca-moments in this book for most tarot beginners.

5.0 out of 5 stars I recommend it!, 20 April 2011
Mark McElroy is one of my favourite authors on the subject of tarot and I'm not disappointed this time too! This is definitely a book for people, who like grounded and no-nonsense approach to tarot and for those who like decks based on story-telling. As to cards - they will suit those people who like digital art, elves and tales.
