4.0 out of 5 stars An interesting read, 14 May 2005
I found this book interesting and enjoyable. I bought it mainly because I am also interested in Martial Arts and have also stayed at hotel 'Alhaurin de la torre' in the middle of the beautiful Spanish mountains. Good luck with the writing career chancer!

1.0 out of 5 stars Very disappointing.., 18 Oct. 2004
didnt enjoy this book.
i read the review, i bought the book and i was disappointed.
I found it a bit boring and the repeated use of slang words got too much after a while.
And he says he beat up curtis warren which didn't help as curtis was a lot younger than him at the time.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Very Interesting Read, 21 Nov. 2003
I bought this book in the airport before going on holiday. I read it twice in a week and now a year later have just picked it up again, it's excellent. I really enjoyed the book and recommend it to anyone. In fact it is definately the best true crime book i have ever read. Because there was no input from Curtis, it does make me wonder how accurate the book is. Definately entertaining whatever the case.
Fingers crossed, one day Mr. Warren will write a book of his own.

This review is from: Big Con (Paperback)
I tried for ages to get this book and was gutted when it turned up as it was mediocre. I put it down a few pages from the end, just couldn't be bothered. Too bad, I was really looking forward to it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Didn't do much for me..., 21 Nov. 2003
This book was OK but not that good as far as I am concerned. It was a bit like a manual, do this, dont do that.. not exactly gripping.

I picked this book up at 8pm, read it until very late. Turned light off to go to sleep, turned it back on, read some more until I just had to sleep. Woke up in the morning and finished it off before contemplating breakfast!
