enchanting, 23 Nov 2010
i am not sure what it is about peppa pig and her family but the very young seem captivated by the antics. i have shown this to a disabled young man whos mental age is 18mnths and it was very successful ( where other dvd's for the same age were not )the fact that it was about santa i think helped.

hysterically funny ( and witty ), 23 Nov 2010
no matter what age, this story will delight. it is all about the antics of a little mouse who outwits all the animals she meets in the woods. a rhyming book which makes it all the more appealing to younger readers as well as the older child. having the sounds adds a new dimension to an already amazing story.

this is the second " room on the broom " i have bought. i read one to someone and then someone else wanted it too. it is an amazingly fantastic book with excitement right from the word go, the characters are funny, witty and cute. as the story develops through rhyme it climaxes into an explosive end. brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know i have used this word once before in a review but i just could not describe this stunning jewelery holder any other way. it is for an 87yr old woman but would equally suit someone younger..it is a timeless classic

slow cooking made easy, 13 April 2010
when i purchased my slow cooker recently, i thought all i would be making would be hotpot.....how wrong was i, thanks to my hamlyn cookbook, i have had a variety of meals almost every night, i have had the gammon joint, soup, "special mince", etc....all i have to do is brown the meat, throw in some veg, add some herbs and spices and.....just walk away and leave it. you can go to work, shopping or visiting and your meal is ready to dish up upon your return fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!no more plain boring meals, this cookbook shows you how to add some excitement back to your cooking.
