Kodak ESP C 315 Colour Multifunctional Printer

1.0 out of 5 stars Nothing but problems - avoid!, 19 Dec 2013
We were persuaded to get this printer, sold on the advantages of cheap ink cartridges and high quality photo printing. But we've had nothing but problems with it - a series of set up issues that took a long time to resolve, no USB connection even though it assumes you have one and high quality photos? Ha! Most come out with a pinkish hue and are very low quality indeed. In fact, most printing comes out pink now. Do yourself a favour and buy elsewhere...

This album will take your breath away with the opening chords of the first song and won't give it back until the closing strains of the last. Being a newcomer to Paul Buchanan, I feel like I've stumbled across a masterpiece - each song is light as air and yet packs an almighty punch. With achingly beautiful melodies, Buchanan's world-weary voice and the haunting sound of a sparse piano, every track on the album appears and then disappears like a fleeting melancholic thought on an Autumn day and stays with you just as long. Buy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, 24 Oct 2011

As an absolute Coldplay geek, today has been a long time coming. And I'm not disappointed. From start to finish, the album is a beautifully conceived work of art, using broad brushstrokes as well as fine detail to create an unforgettable musical landscape. Some people say it has been over-produced but I think the invention and willingness to push the envelope at every opportunity increases the intensity of the colours that the band have used throughout. Put it on, turn it up loud and escape to the world of Mylo Xyloto. You won't be disappointed.

For those expecting Beautiful World 3, you may be surprised. This is inventive and different - but that's the whole point. It's the musical progression of five guys having the time of their lives. Ignore the doubters (who ever went forward by standing still?!), and ignore the ridiculous accusations of 'Robbie and Friends' - this is top notch experimentalism and Robbie only sings prominent vocals on a handful of tracks. When he does, he's brilliant - I'm not a big Robbie fan but his voice is superb and brings a real edge to Barlow's new musical direction. Whether they're talking about science, the end of the world, presidents or lost loves, this is the sound of pure, irrepressible musical joy. Sit back and enjoy it.

It's brilliant, bold, bonkers and bittersweet. A great rollicking romp - and it's great to see them having such fun.
