Emu Women's Stinger Lo Boot

2.0 out of 5 stars Not bad but get the offical uggs, 31 Dec. 2007
The offical uggs have the logo, are much more comfy and are the right size, with proper sheepskin. The inside of these, although slightly comfy really are not a patch on the offical uggs. Whereas these emu boots come in the wrong size and all!
Actually, the FABRIC specification is wrong, they are wool-lined (as stated on Emu's website).

4.0 out of 5 stars Out of this world, 31 Dec. 2007
This review is from: Scorpia (Alex Rider) (Paperback)
Having not really liked the Alex Rider series much execept for the first book, I was weary about this installment. But I decided to buy it - and thank goodness I did. I have never read a better Anthony Horowitz book, or such an action packed book.
It tells of forteen year old Alex Rider who, having discovered the disturbing truth about his father, is on a school trip to Italy when things take their turn. He knows a little about Scorpia but he sees the symbol on a boat and follows it. Later that evening he sees the passenger on the boat going to a party. He disgises himself and finds himself coming face to face with a live tiger!
Full of twists and turns this is a roller coaster that everyone can enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Interesting and true quotations, 31 Dec. 2007
This is another great book by Lemony Snicket, however it is different from the rest. This one is full of nothing but quotations, or pieces of advice, of pure wisdom from a number of authors. It also includes a story about a young woman. All of these pieces of advice have morals and so do the stories. It is a nice book that you could dip in and out of.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Book, 31 Dec. 2007
As you have proberly noticed the reason it's called a blank book is because it is blank. It is a hardcover book that is shaped and looks just like the series.
Instead it's a kind of notebook with hundreds of pages. The paper is thick and good quality. There are over forty stickers in the back to mark anything you want... special diary entries and were you think it looks good really. Also at the bottom of every page there is a quotation from one of he thirteen books in a series. eg: 'People don't always get what they deserve in this world' - Esme Squalor, The Carnivorous Carnival.
Not only this but the pages are lined, with thorn boarders. Your writing won't be able to help looking professional!
On some pages there are Brett Helquist's grayscaled illistrations including some of the most famous: an eye, Violet, Sunny and a violin, and a photo of all three of them plus heaps more!
This book is a perfect diary and I recommend it to anyone.

Nintendo Wii Console (Includes Wii Sports)
Nintendo Wii Console (Includes Wii Sports)

5.0 out of 5 stars Best console, it beats Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 to boot!, 26 Dec. 2007
This is a fantastic console at a fantastic price! Unlike other game consoles the Wii involves you utterly, by it's physical human connection. Like real sport the endorphains kick in as you compete to win the games - and it really does take gaming to a new level.
The game that comes free is fantastic and you can play: Tennis, Baseball, Boxing, Golf and Bowling, all of which require you to act just like you are playing; hit the tennis ball with backhand, Bowl the ball and bat aiming for a home run in Baseball, throw punches in Boxing and dodge the opposition's blows, swing your golf club and aim for the Eagle, and try and knock all ten pins down in Bowling!
As you can see this game is very interactive! It is heaps of fun but this package only contains ONE Wii controller and ONE nunchuk. You will need two Wii controllers to play multiplayer and two nunchuk' to box in pairs.
This package does not contain a memory card so you will need to buy one seperatley. Having said that with Wii Sports it does hold all your memory but, I don't own any other games and I will by a M.C as soon as possible.
It really is fun for all the family and my favourite, and my dad's, part of Christmas 2007 was playing Tennis. My mum and brother also play it and it is very good for his developing co-ordination.
The Wii is also very, very small. Much smaller than the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3. I think this is a big bounus and it fits very nicly in between my television and CD case.
very easy set-up with built in clock and date.
You can also create a Mii - an animated version of yourself or anyone else. This is very fun as you can then play your charater in the Wii Sports games. Your Mii can pick up points with every Sports game by winning, get the most points (over 1000: but you get about 100 each game you win) and you become an unbeatable pro and win loads of medals. There is training for each of these Sports where you battle against time or hit the target and there are different levels for each of these.
Also included on the game is a fitness test, where you do Sporty tasks to complete and it will give you an age which your fitness level is and it will tell you to improve either a) balence b) stamina c) speed. And this is a great way to get exercise! Although I have not got internet connection yet I am sure that it will be just as good as the Wii it's self!
Thank you for reading

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good CD, 20 Dec. 2007
One of America's best bands, yes definatly. Their album 'Come Down' is better than the rest and is a winner.
The good new wave/rock/Techno style of all their songs makes it easy to like and the funny take-it-out-on-the-world lyrics are just as good. I love this CD and I can garentee that you will like this. Say hello to your new favourite band!

Measle and the Wrathmonk
Measle and the Wrathmonk

5.0 out of 5 stars Ogilvy - the new star of children's fiction, 20 Dec. 2007
I think it's a benifit that allchildren can reap from - the publishing of Measle and the Wrathmonk.
This was a Christmas present to me and I wasn't able to put it down from the moment I got it.
MATW is about an orphan boy named Measle Stubbs who lives with his uncle, but somethings not quite right about his uncle. He is as pale as death and has horrible gelled down hair. Tramplebone also has the ability to make people dissapear - never to be seen again. He treats Measle horribly - no new clothes and lots of chores to do.
His uncle, Basil Tramplebone, has a huge model train set up in his attic... with very detailled models of people that look so real. Measle plays a trick on Basil... but will he regret it as his life turns upside down as a punishment?

MDK 1&2 (White Label)

5.0 out of 5 stars MDK, 19 Dec. 2007
This review is from: MDK 1&2 (White Label) (Video Game)
MDK (what does it stand for??) is an interesting and great videogame. Play as a woman, running around with a trianlge head defeating bizarre and amazing monsters, who each have their own unique ability.
Run/walk/fly around the levels with brilliant graphics and stunning backdrops. Get attacked by helicopters, space mutants and more.
Fly with a built in jet pack. Run with a super ray gun in your hands. Walk through the beautiful scenery. Buy MDK 1&2!
