The visual dictionary of the human body., 13 Nov. 2003
This is a great book for children and family use, I wouldn't ever insist that my children read the whole book or push it in their faces as such, however this is an exellent book to have on the bookshelve. My children know this book is there and that whenever they need to discover how muscles work or what the brain looks like we only have to refer to it. Its great for the ever enquiring mind of a child!! Having said this its not recomendable for the young child who wouldn't be able to put the pictures into context, the picture of skeletons etc may become the material of nightmares in the case of an overactive imagination!! We have found the book very educational.
