4.0 out of 5 stars Good read, good value for money, 11 July 2014

Have read the first book in the series, Crimes Against Magic I bought this one, found it better than the first, good read, good value for money. Nothing wrong with the book but can't give this type of book 5 stars, as it's not a classic or brilliantly written, it 's well written but so are a lot of books out there.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well worth a read, 26 Jun 2014

A twist on the normal zombie plot, good characters and a developing story line. Couldn't ask for more, ordered the second in the series as soon as I finished this. I hope Richard Brown keeps up the good work. Given 4 stars, worth 4.5 but not given the option. Value for money worth 5 stars.

Enjoyed this book in the series as much if not more than the first. The twist on the usual zombie character continues and the story line develops nicely. Great value for money.

Easy read, excellent value. Would have given it 4.5 stars if I could, nothing to complain about, story line works. Kept me interested all the way through, bought book two straight away. Got more than I paid for, so what more can I say, if you like zombie books you can't go wrong buying this one.

Not a bad read, nothing fantastic but did the job, entertained to the end, not sure I liked the monster/alien plot, the book would have managed with just the end of the world survial theme. Good value for the money. Would read another book by Mark Morris

1.0 out of 5 stars Absolute Rip Off, 24 Jun 2013

The price was cheap but it was still a rip off, 86% plus of the downloaded book was a preview of the authors Extinction Point series (which I have purchsed already). The rest was 3 very very short stories which had already been publish free in one magazine or another. It seems the trend these days to sell books cheap but split the book into many episodes (some up to 11 episodes), each book in the series recapping the previous book and a preview of the next, using approximately 20% of the total. In all truthfulness the book "series" could have been just one book. Please any authors out there doing this STOP, just charge a reasonable price for a full novel. The con most times is to sell the first book in the series very cheap and the later books in the same series for a lot more.

3.0 out of 5 stars The Rise, 22 Jan 2013

The book is okay, however it is a little much in the touchy feely department. Going on and on about how each characters emotional state very third line. I keep staying "no more female authors" but I keep giving the fairer sex another try. Sorry girls, that's it. Also it smelt a little to much like another vampire werewolf saga, yes the Twilight one. I've read all of the 3 books (the first being the best) in the saga and guess what??? You are right it's not the end!!! How many more books do I have to buy to see the story say "and they all lived happily ever after."
